Violeon Transformation—Part 1
Hm… Adrien, this seems a bit poorly thought out. What’s your plan here?
Btw, this was a really fun spread to make—all the pretty colors and the movement and the butterflies! :)

They make me insane.
Love and Circumstance
An illustration for my Lady Luck and Matagot au! I was kinda winging it with this one, but I think it turned out nice. :)
Basically I had this idea to do a title card style art-piece that illustrated how the adult heroes have a more tense and mistrustful relationship than the two villains of this story—their children. It’s just a cool contrast to me that there is a healthy relationship full of love and everything good between Marinette and Adrien, but their parents keep each other at arms length while fighting together.

Violeon Transformation—Part 2
Here it is! The long awaited (maybe) part 2! Adrien’s such a screen hog he demanded a two page transformation. Silly boy thinks he’s the main character.

Hello!
I love the end card you made, it's really well posed☺️. (Also noticed Matagot got fangs like Hawk moth's Butterfly lower wings, I love that!)
Wanted to ask; Gabriel doesn't know about adrien being the butterfly right? (Sorry, I can't recall, what's the kids' name). If he doesn't, is he a better father? Or how does he behaves?
Also, on the same note, I'm.curois on your oppinion; it's rumored Aspik might return, do you think he will get a scarf to make him more snake like and reference "Gabriel's" gift?
So first, on the topic of Gabriel: The answer to whether he's a better father in this au is... yes, and no. See, in cannon he's obsessed with bringing his dead wife back to life and spends all his time neglecting Adrien because he's too focused on things he can't have, right? Well, as Matagot, Gabriel is the same person as in cannon, but with a different arc. In this case, he doesn't know who stole the butterfly miraculous from him--Though he does suspect Adrien a couple of times, he is never able to come up with any concrete evidence and ends up dismissing the idea for his own peace of mind--And is focusing most of his energy on retrieving it. He spends a lot of time making complicated connection charts, tracking akuma attacks, patrolling the streets and even causing conflict with people on purpose to try and force akumatizations, but does not spend much time at home with his son. Why would he? After all, Adrien is behaving himself, he seems to be doing well in school, and surly if Gabriel's son really needed anything from him, he'd ask. Adrien doesn't ask, and in this au is actively avoiding Gabriel most of the time too, (which Gabriel doesn't notice at all,) because he's worried his father will find out he has the brooch.
But no need to worry--he doesn't ever get as controlling as cannon's Gabriel, and eventually, (largely thanks to Sabine/Lady Luck's influence,) he does figure out ways to be a more attentive parent. So he is kinda a better parent than in cannon! (It just takes a while.)
--As to whether I think they'll give Aspic a scarf if he comes back in season 6? I don't know. They've changed some designs dramatically, so it's possible they'll add elements that weren't a part of the original design. If they do do Adrien again I'm sure he'll at least have an altered design since they did it with most of the other heroes. The scarf is a cool idea, though, for sure! :)
Hello!
I would wonder: how does Adrien/Violeon 🦋 interact with his champions? I see him being sad and desperat, but unlike his father, I don't think he woulf be malicious too... So I wuld assume they cause less harm, like he targets low treats, like someone lost their keys, so he gaves him an ability to manifest a key that can open any door and hints they should check out something exclusive, like backstage (that is intriquing, but also where it's very public, so the present of thr akumatized is wuickly discovered, so the heroes come....) Or someon who "fed up"😅 with littering, so he becomes a trash eating beast, (but wost they do is knocking over trashcans or chase cleaning cars....)So champions that are more atteaction seaking, but less of a treat until LL&M show up...?
Or am I totaly wrong? Could you tell us, please?🙂
Hm… I think Adrien generally empathizes more with the people he akumatizes and gets invested in their goals. He doesn’t always choose safe options, per say—a lot of the villain powers he ends up creating could likely even be considered more dangerous than some of his dad’s akumas, in all likelihood—but he rarely demeans the people he chooses. Instead he becomes their friend, someone who cheers them on and acts as a genuine confidant. Sometimes he gets so invested he forgets about his own goal or puts in on hold in favor of helping them. The akumas tend to offer to help him because they want to, though some end up taking advantage of him and manipulating him instead of the other way around.
I don’t have all the details in mind yet, but that’s what I’m leaning towards, at least.
In the Lady Luck and Mattagott au: Does Adrien know the peacock miraculous is broken? If not, then how does he react when Foulette starts acting like his mom did when she was sick?
No, he isn’t aware, but he does have a feeling that Marinette’s sudden illness and deterioration is connected to the miraculous. This eventually leads him to push Marinette away, as she is only using the miraculous to help him, and then there’s a whole lot of drama. It’s all very sad. :(
