Lady Luck and Matagot Origins/Early Dynamic
I imagine these two would have something of a strained relationship at the start of their partnership. Matagot would have his own agenda, and wouldn’t care to share with the class, while Lady Luck, (keeping her opinions to herself of course,) would have a very negative opinion of her cat companion. They get the job done, all be it with a lot of thinly veiled barbs towards one another—Matagot insulting Lady Luck’s competence, and Lady Luck insulting his tough guy image—resulting in hurt feelings on both sides, but they don’t let it hinder their work. They’re adults, after all. Sabine works in customer service, and Gabriel works in the fashion industry. They know how to work with people they don’t like.
Oh, and they defeat Stone-heart on the first try. No Stone-heart part 2. Since Sabine accepted her role as Superhero more easily than Marinette, she was able to dedicate more attention to learning how to be one from Tikki.
so… yeah. Tada! This was a pretty fun picture to draw, ngl.
