Normalizing Women's Bodies
People should pay more attention to normalizing things women can't control on their bodies -- such as their acne, stretch marks, and body hair, as women are still being judged these days for having these natural things. Having clear skin is now part of the beauty standards in which considerably can be called toxic. In no way should a woman be judged of something she can't control, as acne is also typical to see on a woman's body considering the hormonal issues and genetic issues women undergo. The evidence of body hair on women's bodies is also viewed by society as something unladylike. Supposedly, a woman should shave whenever she feels like it, which doesn't make her less a lady if she gets out unshaved. These norms are called out as a lack of hygiene in which they don't equate as these are natural things that occur in a woman's body. On the other hand, why are women getting called out for not shaving when men can go out of their houses with an immense amount of hair visible on their bodies? Stretch marks, nevertheless, should be normalized and stopped from being pointed out. These represent women's strength with their child labor, weight gain, and other transformation that should be embraced and appreciated. It is innate for a woman to experience changes in her body. That is to say, women should decide on what they look like, and people should respect this. There is no reason to feel disgusted over something natural. Stop commenting on other people's bodies and keep things on your own, especially if these are things naturally seen on a woman's body. Stop telling women what to look like and what to do. Stop pushing out your standards for everybody. Women aren't less of a woman with these natural things they have in themselves.
