Lamento, a convenience store staffed by cats. The customers are just as quirky as the store staff. Exploding merchandise? What’s the reason behind the devils’ visit to the store? Will a fateful battle break out? As this parody of a convenience store unfolds, even characters from Togainu no Chi are not spared from becoming embroiled in the ensuing chaos. Finally, after 10 long months, I am done! I took a 5-month break to play Lamento in-between, but it still took me nearly half a year to translate this Drama CD. I would have loved to read the older translation (which can no longer be found despite my best effort), just to see how the other translator would have worded some of the tricky parts. (What on earth is this thing that I could only transcribe as 六淫取り?)

E anche st'anno la missione Vischio è stata completata. Abbiamo fatto un breve calcolo io e mio padre: se andassimo in centro a venderlo, ci faremmo minimo 2500€.

Sono andato al centro commerciale, c'era del vischio appeso. Mi ci sono messo sotto. E niente, dopo 4 ore e 25 minuti mi ero stancato di aspettare un bacio. Me ne sono andato.

Il mito norreno del vischio

Baldur, il figlio di Odino,era il più amato da tutti gli altri dei, così amato che volevano proteggerlo dai pericoli del mondo.

Sua madre, Frigga, fece giurare a fuoco e acqua, metallo e pietre e ogni altro essere vivente che non l’avrebbero mai ferito.

Ad una riunione, fecero una prova: pietre, frecce e fuoco furono scagliati contro Baldur, e nulla lo scalfì.

C’era un solo dio che non amava affatto Baldur, il dio dell’astuzia, Loki. 

Loki scoprì che Frigga aveva dimenticato di chiedere al vischio, una minuscola, inoffensiva piantina, e completamente ignorata da tutti. Loki modellò una freccia di vischio e uccise Baldur.

Frigga aveva il cuore spezzato. Decretò che il vischio non sarebbe mai più dovuto essere usato come arma e che lei avrebbe baciato chiunque ci fosse passato sotto. 

Per questo oggi appendiamo il vischio alle porte durante le feste, per fare in modo di non ignorarlo ancora.
