Screenshots during the Ugly Baby event. Geralt being insolent and an ass  and Emhyr says “Would you rather I order my guards?”

For someone not known for his patience, Emhyr is patient aplenty with the white haired vatt’ghern.  Added a nice cool blue filter to bring out the contrasting gold and red colors.Again, I cannot emphasize it enough, the emperor has one of the best character model in the game.

“It’s a difficult task, I know this. What of it?”

God I love this scene. Here you have Geralt complaining how looking for Ciri is so difficult and Emhyr gives zero fs. Geralt need only look for Ciri, while the emperor is dealing with the war, the Trade Corporation, and disgruntled nobles who wants him out or dead. Had Foltest been alive, Geralt could cry on his shoulders, but not Emhyr.

“You cannot expect me to pity you the difficulty of your task.”

Cold, unsympathetic, blunt and devoid of guile. But he’s so cool...

Emhyr concluding the audience with his back turned. Emhyr shows a formidable, stoic outward appearance, but conceals his worries over much weightier matters from his associates. Moments like these are what makes him, as all leaders are, human.

Another one from my screenshot collection. Whats the story? Geralt bows to the emperor.

I admit the graphics of the game is impressive: Geralts afk face, the weather, the disdain of humans, the entire world! But whats more impressive is seeing Emhyr's reaction to the bow. Not a blank stare, not a frown. But a quirk of the lips and narrowed eyes.And I was WOAH! I like this guy!
