👉 ВНИМАНИЕ! ВНИМАНИЕ! 👍 ИЩЕМ КРУТОЕ НАЗВАНИЕ! Друзья, нужна ваша помощь! Уже год, как мы (театр @freakcabaret) и медиа-лаборатория @kuflex, экспериментируем с визуальными образами, современными арт-технологиями и танцем, создавая уникальные световые перформансы. И сейчас пришло время дать этому детищу имя. Ведь как ракету назовешь, так она и полетит! 🚀 Итак, нужно придумать название: визуальный театр "ТАКОЙ-ТО"! Это должно быть одно слово (или словосочетание), которое будет запоминающимся, ярким, стильным, позитивным, возможно мистическим и вызывать приятные ассоциации с миром параллельным и сказочным, с миром наших снов и фантазий, с миром нашего подсознания. Тот, чье название будет выбрано, получит от меня благодарность в размере 5000 рублей! На карту Сбербанк или на телефон или лично в руки при встрече... Названий можно писать в комментариях несколько. Manipulate Festival is Fast approaching HAVE!! you got your tickets

WARNING !!!!!! Dyslexic Blogger lol =] 

So its that time of year where one of my most loved Festivals are approaching "Manipulate" Festival in taking part in Edinburgh/Aberdeen and Norwich from January 31st - 8th February.

A Festival with Visual Theatre/film at its core. which is something i  enjoy watching very much 

I believe this is Manipulate's 7th year running. The three venues taking part in this years festival is the Traverse theatre in Edinburgh, The Lemon tree in Aberdeen and final in Norwich puppet theatre  . The festival is organised by Puppet animation scotland more on them look at the website http://www.puppetanimation.org

this year i am seeing a Total of 6 show, they are...  

"Beasiaires" by Dudapaiva company from the Netherlands. Its a performance looking at the relationships between the greek gods and humans and beasts, using both physical theatre and puppetry. www.dudapaiza.com www.facebook.com/DudaPaivaCompany

the second is a piece for England by Stephen Mottram's Animata called "The Seas of Organillo" a non spoken performance which is something that interested me very much since working at Solar Bear (Glasgow) I have become very interested in working on no text based productions. Something that could be accessible to both Deaf and Hearing Audience. I will be very keen to see how they stage this production and how they get away from the desire to speak.

"Torn" by Flux Theatre from Scotland is the next production on my list "Beautifully staged, moving and Darkly comic" What more could i ask for something i feel that is right up my street

"Hotel De Rive" is a production by Wait for it.... FigurenTheater Tuebingen Compangnie Bagages De Sable & Theater Stadelhofen Co- production from Germany. This production is one i am very very excited to see the promotional images sold it to me from the start it just look Beautiful just look it up people www.figurentheater-tuebingen.de

i have had the pleasure of taking part in a workshop with the next company Tortoise in a Nutsell from scotland are doing the production "grit" I am looking forward to seeing the things I was taught in the workshop on the stage and how they put it all together. i think this production will help me in my own practice of shadow puppetry. look these guys up www.tortoiseinanutsell.com twitter- @tortoiseinanut  

and Finally the production i am really looking forward to "Go!" a work from Russia by Polina Borisova i don't know a lot about this production but from the images alone it looks truly Mesmerising a non spoken piece another thing that attached me i really can't wait to sit down and watch this performance.

there are many other sides to Manipulate Festival such as workshops and the films and Animations, Talks Ect... Look it up and come along i am sure you will enjoy the productions and performances. The thing i like about the festival is people form all over the globe are creating work that brakes down Language Barriers and create something we can all relate to no matter what our mother tongue is including Sign Language. i encourage you to all go along
