Cube Ent released “phase 3: GALAXY” on the 15th of November 2018. It was the group's 2nd comeback and 3rd mini album. Following the popularity the group gained with their last comeback with “LADY” everyone was anticipating big things from the monster rookies .“phase 3 : GALAXY” is the 3rd installment of the “phase: ” series that the girls debuted with. It was available both digitally and physically. The mini album contains “HANN(-)” which was their title track which they promoted along with “SHOTGUN”. SoDa produced all the tracks on the album working with each member on their individual tracks. The album was an all round success once again. The girls followed the comeback up with a mini promotional period with “PRETTY SAVAGE” which was performed on music shows for 2 weeks.

⭒ | on the 29th of june 2020 VIVID released their 2nd full length album U R MINE. almost a year long hiatus YURI finally returned and the girls returned as 5 for their biggest comeback to date HIP ! the album is another one that is considered one of SODA’s best works with tracks like ILLUSION , DAHLIA , IT HURTS E I E I O and SO GOOD . SODA also released their first official subunit track HAPPY NOW which they performed once as a special stage. throughout the era the girls promoted their track LUV U as a special stage alongside HIP ! and their intro track 24 HRS. the comeback was highly anticipated because of YURI’s return.

“HIP” is a swaggering track that has a brassy take-down of those who have nasty words for VIVID. Having been written and produced by duo SoDa , the lyrics draw inspiration from the girls own experiences as idols, with several references to real life events and criticisms aimed at the group.The girls coolly sing and rap over a powerful, anthemic melody about how they’re so hip, and do not care about what others think because they are happy being the way that they are.

Their Comeback showcase was held on the same day as their debut, 21 July 2020. Because of the current global situation it was an online live stream showcase.
Since their debut VIVID have become known for their indescribable energy when on stage and their general stage presence. This showcase only further proves it as they seemed to be even stronger than before. Each member performed their solo stages along with the group choreography. The girls solo performances caught a lot of attention as they each got to shine in their own ways and highlighted this. Sisi and Leo worked with their choreographers again to create the choreo for ‘HIP’ and ‘24 HRS’.
Yuri particularly stood out this era. Her energy was new and fresh and it looked like she was actually enjoying herself again. The fancam of her performing ‘HIP’ went viral on twitter as people were asking “who’s the girl with pink hair”. She really came back with a bang.
