Slav gave a squeamish twitch and spun around, freezing in place. “Shiro?!” He glanced at Honerva in terror and backed away behind Coran. “You… what took you so long to get here?”
“Dropping this nuisance off at his home,” the Black Paladin muttered, his brows knitting suspiciously as he stepped into the kitchen. Matt offered a small wave to everyone and then froze, hesitating as he took in the grim atmosphere. The furry alien let out a low snarl at Shiro and stomped unceremoniously toward the refrigerator, rummaging through it while continuing to grumble.
“Why is he still here?” Keith threw his hands up, watching the intruder with annoyance.
“He wouldn't agree to stay. We wasted a massive amount of time teleporting to different planets and not a single one,” Shiro raised his voice so his angry tirade would reach the furry creature’s ears, “not a single one was good enough for him.”
“You offered him Altea and Daibazaal.” Matt snorted.
“That was at the end. At first, I offered him perfectly normal options.”
A Team picture of the three psychics of "Team Sincline", aka Lotor's Team.
We have Narti, who is blind but can see through the eyes of Kova, Lotor's cat, and is able to manipulate others through physical touch.
Myutsu uses psychic abilities for combat, and can also control people, but through direct eye contact.
Monika is the resident "Remote viewer", she can spy on designated targets from afar using just her mind. Essentially, she is functioning a lot like Haggar does for Zarkon,by getting visions and information through them. Monika is also Myutsu's pupil.
Remember this piece with ninjas? Well, I wanted to revisit it with screenshot-like images. Katie (in a different outfit from the original piece) in a bad spot and Pidge showing up to rescue her. Though, she’s a bit alarmed, not expecting to see a ninja.
Knowing her, she’s going to go home and play video games, tell herself she hallucinated on too much studying and peanut butter cookies.
Anyway, I hope y’all enjoy this one!
Until next time!
What’s up, y’all? I’m back with another story! This story is much shorter than the other ones because I wrote this on my break and since there isn’t any dialogue between Kova and Lotor, this one is more of a narration. The prompt by @vld-prompts says: Kova takes a nap in Lotor’s chair and refuses to move. I hope you all enjoy this short one!
Jab! Duck! Swerve!
Jab! Duck! Swerve!
Acxa, Ezor, and Zethrid heard these three words on repeat for 2 Vargas. Although the ladies wanted and needed to be the best tactical fighters in the galaxy, they too, needed a break from training. They trained quintant and night, fighting, lifting, swimming, and any other training that would sharpen their senses and strength. Three quintants out of the movement their weight training was completed. All three were heavy lifters, and their arms showed their progress.
After the last session, all three of them wiped the sweat from their faces simultaneously.
“Are you ladies tired,” Lotor asked.
“No, Sir.”
Everyone knows (especially those who participated in sports in elementary school) that if the coach asks: “Are you tired”, you always respond with “no”. If you said “yes”, you exercised more and harder; almost until you passed out. Ezor shot Acxa an irritated stare and rolled her eyes. She had enough for the day. That was understandable.
“Great. I think you all and I have had enough training for the day. You are dismissed. Make sure you are up and ready in the morning. We will be meeting with team Voltron tomorrow and we need to be sharp and polished as much as possible. If we can gain their trust, we can finally achieve our goal.”
“Vrepit Sa,” they said placing their fists over their hearts. Their loyalty to Lotor was something combined with sincere friendship and respect. As quiet as kept, Lotor not only wanted his generals to be the sharpest knives in the drawer but he also cared about them; he wanted to make sure they could defend themselves effectively for their own safety.
It seemed like no matter how great he was at fighting, he kept pushing himself to fight more. He wanted to be the best. Heck, in his mind, he was the best but he wanted everyone to know. Eh, there’s nothing wrong with having an ego. This time around, Lotor decided that he was actually going to rest. He was going to kick his feet up on his wooden desk and lay back in his red and black comfortable reclining chair. He knew that as soon as he sat in the chair--LIGHTS OUT!
As he entered his room, he immediately noticed that his fluffy cat, Kova, was laying in his chair. He was sound asleep, purring loudly as usual. Kova was so lucky! He’s just an animal that has been alive for 10,000 years, in great health, and didn’t have to worry about anything except for being petted. Lotor smiled a little, just admiring Kova. This cat, along with his generals, helped him survive the years in the past.
As he slowly approached the chair, Kova opened one eye and gave Lotor the stare of death. He attempted to move him, but instead, Kova hissed loudly as if he was highly irritated.
“Oh, come on kitten, you’re in my chair. It’s time for me to nap now.”
He attempted to pick him up again, but this time Kova swiped his arm quickly leaving fresh lines on his purple skin.
“Ow! What was that for?”
He scolded the cat as if he could understand what Lotor was saying and all Kova did was stare at him again, carelessly laying his pretty little head on his arm. He showed his sharp vampire teeth then continued to rest carelessly in the chair he now possessed. Lotor could feel him becoming more light-headed as dobashes passed. It was only a matter of time before he passed out from exhaustion. But the question remains, why is Kova being so stubborn? It was unusual for him to be acting like this. Then again, Lotor has been so busy with training, talking to rebel fighters, trying to stay as far as he could from Zarkon while trying to take over the empire that he completely forgot about his beloved cat. Lotor moved to the back of the chair and attempted to grab him that way. It didn’t work. Kova not only scratched his wrists but also tore the back of his chair. Three intense kitten claw marks were engraved in the chair. Lotor frowned in anger, nearly about to “throw hands” with his cat.
“You’re such a naughty cat when you don’t get what you want.”
He waited for 5 doboshes and attempted to move the stubborn cat again. Kova clawed him good.
“Ow! What is going on with you?!”
This time Kova’s hissing was more of an upsetting tone. He sat down again and stared at Lotor, and rubbed his head against the chair’s arm. Lotor already knew that he wasn’t going to be able to sit in this chair at all anytime soon. Instead, he sat next to the chair, legs crisscrossed, and leaned his head against the wooden drawers in his desk. He released a sigh of relief and slowly closed his eyes. Two whole movements of non-stop combat and weight training will drain your energy QUICKLY. It was fitting to finally have a moment of peace and quiet and to have time to reflect. Just as he fell into a slumber, he felt something soft and gentle brush against his arm feeling rather ticklish. He opened one eye just to see his hiss-y cat had brushed his head against his chest and made himself comfortable in his lap. Poor Kova. All he wanted was Lotor’s undivided attention, that’s all. He purred softly, still rubbing his head against Lotor’s chest, and then the perfect idea popped into the prince’s head. With Kova in his right hand and his pillow in his left, he sat in his reclining chair, propped his head on the pillow, and placed Kova in his lap, gently stroking his fur. Within ticks, both the prince and his best friend were sound asleep, resting for the big quintant tomorrow.
