Yo Grandeezy, I'll give you like,, a legit ask for once(? Have I never asked a genuine ask? Idk,, anyway); if you had to replace team voltron with secondary/minor characters for an episode who would you cast?

Boi!!! I’m so ready for this ask. First of all thank u, I enjoy ur other asks but this one made me excited~so immediately I thought, Slav would be the green paladin, I definitely think that despite his anxieties (and headcanon OCD), he’s a very curious person who likes knowing things!~Nyma would be the blue paladin, I think that her natural charm (despite the way she used it), and spirit makes her a really good fit for Blue~I think that Rax is a good fit for Red because he kinda thinks a lot like Keith in that he tries to put the Balmera and his family above anything else, like strangers looking for a crystal~I’m almost 100% sure anyone could see this coming, but Shay would be a great yellow paladin (I would make a case for Plaxum if she had legs bc tbh she’d make a great yellow paladin too). Shay naturally has a very kind and open heart, similar to Hunk, and she also has a deep devotion and love for her people that drove her to act in order to help them, and I think that could easily translate over to Voltron~finally for the black lion, I think that Ryner, the Olkari leader from the Greening the Cube episode (s2 e4) would make a great black paladin. I know that she’s very connected to nature and that could potentially make her a candidate for Green, but I definitely see lots of leadership qualities in her. She’s decisive in her planning, and she doesn’t hesitate to call out Lubos for being a terrible king. Overall she’s a very collected individual and I think Black would take to her quite well

Day 14 of my sketch countdown to Voltron: Legendary Defender season two, featuring the Balmeran siblings, the grumpy Rax , and the sunny Shay . It was definitely fun drawing these two and their alien physique 🤗💕 and Shay is one of my favorite secondary characters from the show. Her gentleness coupled with her bravery and daring is beautiful to watch!
