High Fashion/Modelling AU. 

I’m crying because these took so long to make but I’m so in love with them, which doesn’t usually happen with my art... 

Okay so,

First of all, Pidge’s was probably the most time consuming piece. I don’t know if there is a short cut for this but I had to cut, colour, and paste every one of those damn glowy plant flower things and I am not impressed. But, I can’t see her wearing anything other than glow in the dark high waisted pants and a fekking cape. 

 Allura’s was definitely the most fun to make (pink pearl is literally one of my favourite colours when it comes to clothing), and the contrast of her hair and skin is just djfhrkgkjNeagrh????? I kind of imagine her to be a personification of the moon? Idk. 

Lotor was deserving of only the finest pair of stiletto boots my puny imagination could conjure up. The sweater dress was originally a pair of booty shorts that just kind of morphed into that sparkling monstrosity. 

Shiro’s gothic harness was a last minute detail, but I think he pulls it off? Yep, definitely. 

Hunk’s skirt was inspired by those gorgeous galaxy skirts Hot Topic sells. 10/10 would recommend. 

Lance may or may not be wearing Keith’s scarf, and Keith may or may not think he looks like a bad ass edgelord with those fingerless gloves.

I’ve reached peak VLD trashiness

So, I'm currently taking a class on the Solar System (as a schedule filling elective but it is an awesome class) and for our term paper, we have to write up a proposal for a mission to somewhere in the Solar System of our choosing.

...I mean, obviously my first thought was "what if I chose Kerberos" but knew it wouldn't be easy since we really don't even know that much about Pluto, let alone it's moons.

But of course, never in my school career have I ever been the one to go "oh term paper on a topic of choice? let's go with the EASIEST THING POSSIBLE" ...so I entertained the idea. I read the pitiable amount of info on Kerberos on NASA's website... I wrote a blurb. I researched a little more... and you know what?

I fuckin came up with something. It was easier to write a rough-rough draft on Kerberos than to write on one of my other ideas (Ganymede, because both NASA and the ESA have plans for Europa, and Enceladus is a hot topic right now and I just have to be a hipster about everything it's in my goddang nature blame it on me being an Aquarius).

Anyway, so I'm proposing a legitimately-researched, unmanned (it was in the rules) mission to Kerberos. I don't know whether to laugh at myself, cry, or be proud.

Why people hate voltron season 8, for people who are confused or just want a quick summary.

On the surface:

The new content seems odd, out of character and has disapointing plots and plot holes. Not to mention its the last season of voltron

Dig a little deeper:

The creators seemed to have purposely done things to make the fans upset? They've even been quoted as calling it "punishment". People feel like they and the characters have been had by the crew. It starts to get really weird now.

Complete lore at this point:

The actors were lied to and mislead apparently by the creators, the creators have made what have been observed to be very rash and frantic re-writting and re-animating. Which if true sheds light on the before-mentioned 'plot holes'. There is lots of undiputable evidence for all of this, but the weirdest of all is that no one knows why, and by the way they seem to cover it up, we'll never know.

Zarkon, Lotor, and Honerva got what they wanted, but the paladins got fucked.

Alt. Titled; How the Royal alteans and Glara played everybody to get what they want.

Zarkon, after thousands of years of trying to control the entire universe, becomes the fucking universe and has domain over all realities.

Honerva/Haggar- wanted to find the fuckin secret to life, pure quintessence and to be with zarkon and lotor again, she got all that.

Lotor- wanted to stop his father, avenge/be with his mother, and to be with allura, he got all that.

And then everyone else did the opposite of what they wanted to

Pidge and lance left behind their dream of piloting and confined themselves to earth.

Keith just wanted to be with his family, now not only is he not with his mom and potential stepdad, but now is millions of miles away from the closest people he has just to meet new people.

Hunk, it wasn't really clear what he wanted other than his family but he was a very talented enginere, he left both those things behind.

Shiro is the most appropriate I guess, he's been through a lot and justs wants to settle down, but thats all we get from him. Just that he got married. We literally know nothing about his past but atleast we know hes fucking married to some random ass side character.

It’s rainy today and honestly have nothing better to do, so ima drop some film theory shit on y’all.

First off; technology

Speed of light= 670,615,200 mph

Traveling to the edge of the solar system at the fastest traveling speed available anytime from 1969- current day

1969/current day- 41.3856557648 years long

Times 78=1,933,698 mph

(to match the “months”, substituting 6.5 months, it took for garrison to reach the edge of the solar system.)

(6.5 months because ‘months’ could mean anywhere from 2-11 months, with not specifically being a single month, or a year)

Since the technology they have at the Garrison could be discovered theoretically in between the next 1-100 years (according to nasa),there is another option in between those two time spans that could give clues. The other clues are the culture/style, and also the cave paintings.

The cave paintings can be seen in the location of the blue lion and also the location of the yellow lion. However, the ones located on earth are the only ones to feature creatures native to its planet and also what can be presumed to be alteans.

(The ‘alteans’ are drawn differently from the humans which is clue one. Clue two,though hard to see in the picture, is that the two figures shown have altean patterns on their ‘clothes’)

Obviously the style in the show is definitely different from current styles, change like that could take years.

The original voltron aired in 1984, 32 years before the reboot aired. Obviously the original voltron took place in the future, so we could assume that the rebooted version takes place 32 years after 2016 (reboot air date). This works out perfectly because 10,000 years before this, was roughly a little under 8000 bce, which is when lots of humans started to migrate to the lower part of North America. This also works out considering that most fans think that (when they’re actually on earth) the show takes place in Arizona or Texas.

Not to mention that the style of buildings and clothes could easily change in the next 30 years and that nasa is currently working on efficient ways to travel PAST the edge of the solar system. If my long and sad (lol) theory is correct, the first season takes place in the year

2048.
