be forewarned that c37 and 38 will not be coming out tomorrow or the day after, most likely. they are VERY important chapters and i have to spend a lot of time thinking about how they should be written. have patience with me! we are literally in the last arc of the fic, it's gonna be over soon. i want this to be some of my best work, because it's the first fic i've been able to finish <3

Do the bamboozlers stay in the town for a bit? Obviously scar is trying to be on whatever side Scott is,

But would lizzie or Jimmy try to stay friendly with the town rather than just following scar to the castle and help him with scott right off the bat?

this is a good question

i think that at least at first the whole trio would treat Oakhurst as just another town - they're a travelling troupe, one day they here another day they already left

and the fact that none of them are human and all of them eat people would make them be careful around townsfolk in general (Jimmy and Lizzie have some morals about it but they are still in the gray area)

i think they didn't even planned to stay in town for a lot of time - just another place to give their show and be on their way

there IS reason why they came to Oakhurst of all places but they definitely didn't thought about staying here

I think my goal for 'Very Mild Superpowers' is to see how many unquestioned flaws and other tropes from superhero stuff I can poke fun at or make obvious, at least, that's how it seems when I conspire with my collaborators. 

In other news, next chapter features a useless time-traveller, a thief with a super smoulder, and a certain super begging his tech guy for an allowance.
