Found an app that I can layer vocals with. So, naturally my first cover will be a dodie song. Lol.
Drugs R Bad
I have been experimenting with vocal layering for a while now and more recently with chanting. I caught a thunder storm the other night and a nightbird afterwards. Not sure what kind of bird that is. This is heavily influenced by the improvisational music I have been making with Womajich Dialyseiz and LUNAR, as well as that new Alice Coltrane release and Twin Peaks. I am hoping to get my friend Erik to possibly collaborate on it and perhaps my new friend Berko (on the new FFE comp- she is one half of So Nice Yesterday and has a solo track on it as well) to rap or do spoken word or even give it to her to remix possibly. It has gone through several edits and versions and likely will again but I wanted to share what I am up to. I think I am exploring and going to new places even if it sounds like the same old me.
