Ignoring the video this song is beastly. Animal Cracker really put himself into his EP Vodka Seltzer and it shows; deviating from his usual horrocore/hardcore style he delivers some emotionally raw tracks on this one.

in a nut [the weekend] shell
thursday: after work, i jumped on the train and headed to chicago. my bff was there to meet me at the train station and we went back to her apartment and started drinking vodka seltzers shortly thereafter. some of her friends met us there and we shared a cab to neo and danced to eighties music until 4 a.m., all the while drinking vodka seltzers. an old foreign man told me i was the prettiest girl in the bar. at like 2 a.m. what a compliment. (this is why i was an online dater).
friday: i woke up feeling like shit since i had been drinking from about 8 until 4. we took showers and got ready to go. we were meeting her friends at a restaurant called handlebar for brunch. it's worth mentioning that it was, like, 90 degrees in chicago and i was severely hungover. i threw up a total of 3 times friday. it sucked. really, really bad. once on the crowded, hot city bus (which was the most embarassing of the three), once in the bathroom at the restaurant and nearly in the cab on the way home had i not narrowly escaped. we went back to her apartment, she got me some ginger ale (the sweetheart that she is) and i took about an hour nap. then i was all good. we went out for some amazing sushi, then to a street festival. i remained alcohol free that evening.
*note to self: 10+ vodka seltzers doesn't do a body good. i wasn't that drunk since it was over a long period of time, but i think it was sheer volume that made me feel like complete shit.
saturday: woke up and did a little shopping, then went to brunch at the chicago diner. i got on the train to go back home around 1. that night, i met up with O&P and his friends and we went to a comedy club. i had never been to one before, it was actually really funny.
sunday: woke up at O&P's, had coffee on his patio and went home. i decided that i'm taking up knitting, so i went to the craft store to pick up some preliminary supplies to practice on. then i went to my parents' house for fajitas and margaritas.
it was a good weekend. i learned that i am totally not built for marathon drinking. or big city living. i was irritated by the traffic, public transportation, crowds, rude people, the foul smells, bums, parking, etc. i'll take milwaukee any day.
