Dagney (unsure if I can/should keep her last name as Gygaxe but)
Age: ~20 when she meets the gods beyond the veil, indeterminate and immortal thereafter
As a young woman Dagney meant well, she did. Living in an alternate world on the brink of a psychedelics golden age, Dagney’s own problems with addiction in her youth instilled a strong belief that drugs and the countercultures associated lead people to ruin and degeneracy. In turn, she saw the people at the forefront of the psychedelics movement looking to use them in therapy and to help people change their perspectives and better understand themselves, as actually trying to take advantage of people in vulnerable states. The deep hatred she stoked towards these people caught the attention of Something trying to pierce into her world.
But of course, thoughts alone could not accomplish this- only a bloody and terrible act could have such power.
