Hi everybody! I did some art of the Voltee enemy from Astro Bot! I love how even the bad guys have such cute designs!

I recognize Voltee! Are you the one who made the Minees?

I think you’re thinking of these Minees (Mini Eevees) by @asktheminees (Cheeziespaz on dA)!

Voltee shares a name with their Jolteon pre-evo (by coincidence) but it was commissioned as a baby Jolteon instead and is not related to the Minees :)

So just to make sure, voltee can't evolve into any other single type eeveelution or any of your dualtype eeveelutions?

Voltee is just a baby Jolteon, taking the place of Eevee in a very specific scenario. While I name the babies for fun, it’s still just a baby Jolteon and not a separate stage (like how a puppy is just a baby dog, a Voltee is just a baby Jolteon).

Outside of lore, Voltee is really just a “what if” bonus, because the commissioner requested a baby Jolteon. It isn’t connected to any of my other Eeveelutions. Thanks for asking - I hope that clears it up.
