I love the Olkari and I love Ryner. I would have loved to learn more about her and her people and see her with a familial bond towards Pidge. Anyway! For a while, I’ve been wanting to draw Ryner through the years, from a child to the leader we know and love. So. Here I am. And I enjoy this! Like Pidge, when she bonded with Green more on Olkarion, when we saw the green paladin think of the vines and veins of a leaf and into a grid of a circuit board or something, I had the opposite for Ryner.

When you attempt to make Ryner look hylian for a certain fic series to help a friend in need ( @winter-and-little-brunettes ) and you only have a sketchbook and someone else’s colorpencils… And then you remember you haven’t attempted traditional art in a very long time. More love for Ryner and the Olkari please I beg
I wanted a human version of Ryner designed for the upcoming superhero AU. In that AU, she’ll be Pidge and Chip’s grandmother. I’m actually fond of this design, having her hair still visibly brown but with white and silver streaking through it. When I first added in the colour, she seemed like an older Pidge. That seemed perfect.
Anyway! I hope you guys enjoy a human version of Ryner! I sure hope I did okay. Well, until next time.
Maybe not my best, but a doodle comic sort of thing with the Altean!Pidge AU I occasionally doodle for, with Altean/BoM!Lotor, too! Anyway! Ryner and Kolivan discuss the fate of the Alteans and how so few there are (since they don’t know of Allura or Coran being asleep for ten thousand years yet), and... well... I don’t think Pidge too fond of thinking of dating, let alone starting a family... with anyone.
Ulaz is happy for Pidge’s reaction, though. He looks like a proud father/uncle who doesn’t want the baby growing up too quickly. I can live with that.
