Animorphs, volume 54: Well! Thas it. I read the whole gotdang series. besides The Ellimist Chronicles but let’s not think about that right now.
Rachel’s death was my unfortunate spoiler, so as soon as Jake had some mysterious task for her, I was dreading it. Then at the end I wondered, what would Rachel even have done after the war? She would be even more bored than Marco. She’d probably need even more therapy than Jake. But then I got sad imagining her and Tobias morphing things and running/flying/swimming around for thrills and how much fun they would have. Fucking upset that he ended up all alone again. Cassie got my dream job. I am sad that she and Jake couldn’t get together. They’re never going to find anyone else that has a bond to them like that. But, yeah. Trauma fuckin changes you. She has a good life doing things that are important to her. And now Jake... kinda gets that, too, I guess. Rescuing one of his best friends. Also I am head-canoning that Ax is okay and they will reunite with him and Crayak is just being a manipulative douchelord again, lol. ....What the fuck. ;;@_@ Gawd, I am just... thinking back on those last two books trying to articulate my thoughts on the events. It was just... brutal. Not some Steven Universe, that’s for sure. I was kinda hoping that when Marco talked about all those interviews and book releases and panels that there’d be some goddamn therapy thrown in there. Eh, but when has this country ever prioritized our veterans’ mental health? Jake was just on a war-strategy rampage in that last battle, it was pretty fuckin scary, tbh. But they did it, they overthrew Visser One. Lame that the Auxiliary Animorphs just got fucking zapped. 8/ I wanted at least some of them to see the end of the war. The Andalites were useless, but at least they agreed to grant the rebel Yeerks and Taxxons a morph and some freedom. And they also granted Earth interstellar travel! So the Andalites could have Dunkin Donuts! I wish they’d also granted us anti-capitalism. Eh, the Andalites kind of have their own weird classist issues, too. Equity isn’t their strong suit. ANYWAY, I am kind of brain-adled and don’t know how to wrap this up except that maybe I should have been in a better state of mind to finish off this series, lmao. I’m kind of just like... “That’s the last one? Oh. Wow.” It’ll probably hit me later. Thanks to everyone who read my scattered liveblog experience. :’> It was fun to chat and theorize with a few of you!
one piece but only the rainbow covers (53, 62, 66, 76, 83 & 95)
Luffy knows what will happen if he tries to set sail without Nami.
Nice feels, Norma Comics.
Nice feels…
The music I'm listening isn't helping either...
