Non-France related question! Are you still planning on voting in this year's American presidential elections? If so, do you have any idea how it works when you're overseas? (You DON'T have to disclose who you're voting for)
I am certainly planning on voting in this year’s US elections. I am scared for my country, for my family, for my friends. It’s very important to me to vote, to have the right to vote, to show what I stand for. I’m a feminist, bisexual, adopted (not born in the US), woman of color from a mixed family and there a lot off issues that I care about being raised in the current election. No matter your views I think not voting is not an option in this election, it’s a privilege to be a part of history in this way. I have actually printed my ballot and voting materials already and my vote should be going in the mail this week! I registered for absentee voting far before I flew across the ocean because of my belief in the necessity to vote. Being in another country is not an excuse, if you ask me!
I would also note that you can register for absentee voting online and have your ballot sent to you online (at least in my state), but YOU MUST MAIL YOUR PHYSICAL BALLOT AND ALL THE NECESSARY PAPERWORK SNAIL MAIL STYLE. All the information you need to do absentee voting is online, it’s not too late!
Is it too late to register to vote because I really don’t want Trump to have a chance :L If anyone could help I would appreciate it XD
Democracy in Romania - Elections abroad.
I Don't Know What To Think of This
So, I registered today that I would like to vote abroad at a consulate. I was informed that the National Election Committee will be touch with me regarding their "decision".

DO IT NOW: Request an Absentee Ballot
Going abroad this fall? Make sure your voice is heard from overseas, and request an absentee ballot for the upcoming elections! While we're off exploring other countries and cultures we can't forget that, when we come back, we will be entering a potentially new and different political climate that is dependent on the voice of our generation. LET'S DO THIS.
