What Phobias do you headcanon, Vox , Lucifer and Alastor have.

I myself headcanon

Lucifer has a phobia of Heights

Vox has a Phobia of Spiders.

Alastor has a Phobia of Dogs

Phobia Headcanons

Vox - scoptophobia (the fear of being stared at), pathophobia (fear of disease), mysophobia (fear of dirt and germs)

Lucifer - Ataxophobia (fear of disorder or untidiness, Atelophobia (fear of imperfection), and atychiphobia (feel of failure)

Alastor - philematopphobia (the fear of kissing) and/or philophobia (the fear of love) bonus points for Aphenphosmphobia (the fear of being touched)

I think it was canon that Alastor doesn't vibe with dogs. Either that or a headcanon in the fandom that got big but it makes sense so I can get behind it. Of course there's the intimacy issues he has so I listed those here.

Lucifer carries a lot of stress on his shoulders trying to take care of Charlie but he has such a history that of course he worries from time to time if he could have done things slightly differently to help his daughter more. That plus he hates his own perfections but he also hates seeing them in others when it holds people back from their potential. He was the "number one fuck up", he doesn't want his daughter to accidentally follow similar thoughts that could mess her up later. He's always so worried about it honestly..

Vox has a reputation and I've mentioned before in posts that he's definitely sold himself out before just to get things he really wanted. I feel like him being a germaphobe is interesting. Like he likes to keep clean and tidy especially for TV so he dislikes when he's not. A good example of the not liking to be stared at part would be him having one of those nightmares where people go to school naked or little clothes. Like yes he's a business man but imagine like Valentino tries to dress Vox in things before he's fully ready and he gets mad because everyone has seen him dressed professionally, what will they say and think of he changes that even to just put on lingerie? Or something silly like that..

Most likely he views himself too differently in his head when he does have to do those things.

(he'd do it for Alastor in private).

Considering Alastor's sexuality and considering the fact that I myself am on the aspectrum, I feel like these fears we share. It takes a lot of energy and care to be close to people in such a way and every time it threatens to pop up he tends to freeze up. It's a dreadful feeling for him whether that be for how much his dislikes it or the fact that love has and seems to always will be something Alastor will never grasp. Meant to live an eternity alone to rot. In the ships I put him in he's capable of finally being comfortable with SOMEONE enough to truly be himself.

I know Alot of people agree that Alastor had an Abusive father and a loving mother. But what about Vox. What's your headcanon for his childhood parents.

In my headcanon they Abandoned him either as a baby or as a child. Hence why he has major abandonment issues

I was definitely gonna say Vox probably didn't have parents or something along that sort. Poor baby, I'm thinking like I need to look into when he was born again but considering he comes from an old time period imagine it being something like neglect. Parents were too busy to actually play and be around him and if that was the case I can also see Vox being sent to different relatives so they could deal with him. Hm imagine this as well, Vox was abandoned because of something with his face.

I've heard people say that his form contributed to how he died but consider it being something else like Vox was born with some sort of deformity, he grew up quite alone because of it.. grew a deep bond with TV because it gave him comfort like those kids that sit cross legged super close to the TV and they can't seem to pull away, something like that.

He got into the wrong crowd, seen some things and became a product of his environment which is probably why he'd later lead himself into working with Valentino because old habits can and do die hard.

I can totally roll with the idea of him being abandoned from a young age, like in reality it had nothing to do with Vox but he was made into believing so. I feel like if that's somewhat the case not only does it explain him working as he does in Hell, why he has those abandonment issues, and why in the face of the public he's more than willing to put on a fake smile and act like it's all okay.

Most people in Hell are dumb so he's not worried about it.

I think I mentioned this in another post but in case I haven't Vox we have now is really just a shell of the old Vox we had before.

I just woke up from a nap and I had a dream that me and Lucy Gray were sitting in a tree and smoking weed. And she told me “you’re so covey core!”

I don’t do drugs or smoke, I’ve never even thought abt doing it.

And what makes this worse is that this ISNT the most weird dream I’ve had

Ok what do you think the most Traumatic thing that ever happened in Lucifer, Alastor and Vox life.

For Lucifer I kinda mean after the fall. And for Vox and Alastor I mean When they were young alive

The fall definitely fucked Lucifer up but you said after so I'll say Lilith deciding to leave him. They have a daughter after everything in Heaven, after everything with Eden and Lucifer loves so hard that he almost feels like it's his fault for even falling in love with her in the first place. It's like he feels like even though he loves her, all the courting he did to have her live the rest of her existence just for her to run away leaves him so heartbroken even though he tried to keep those emotions to himself.

I think I mentioned someone saying Vox's head being crushed by a TV was a good one but outside of that one maybe child neglect. Or in worse cases, depending on his family and the time period Vox could have easily been a product of trafficking... Selling his body around just to please others and get points for doing such "good jobs" making him vulnerable to people like that. Gang activity could have been included considering the time period and Vox could have gotten hurt really bad out there.

Alastor probably went through having the best childhood aoit of these three but I've also seen scenarios of him being a hunter when he was alive and human. Probably found himself in a life or death situation with a bear or a pack of wild dogs. Like they snuck up on him, took some bites and hurt him leaving Alastor to genuinely have to fight for his life to get away and make it back home to his mother.

OH AND ON THE TOPIC OF HIS MOTHER. his mother passing away definitely tore a deep hole in Alastor's heart.

I'm generally curious how you think their fallout went, if you'd like to express your opinion on that.

HEY I'm not finished with this yet but so far I have three sketches I was doing with your prompt in mind hehe ✨✨✨ thank you for giving me the ideas as well anon!! Imma draw like one more pic after these sketches of the fallout because I definitely have ideas in mind.

So here's the scenarios:

Alastor got in a fight over Vox considering his friend is smaller and weaker and Alastor doesn't like when Vox is being picked on. He couldn't help himself, got to beating peoples asses and now Vox is scolding him but while also dealing with Alastor's wounds.

Second sketch is then walking home today after a drinking night. They gotta keep a hold to each other to not fall. (Though imagine they do collapse into a heap and just giggle and laugh because of it)

Third is them cuddling. Alastor is definitely big smooth with most cases but sometimes he's open for little spoon too. They have the pillow for protection juuust in case.

What you guys think? Hehehe I really like the one where they are holding on to each other but imma see if I can fix and finish lineart today.

The Fallout:

As much as I love bringing Val into it, I also like believing they fell out before Valentino was even in the picture for real. I also think that maybe it was a love confession gone wrong but we've heard it where Vox confessed and Alastor was the one to freak out but have you ever heard the song IFHY?? It's not to say that they hated each other at this point but imagine this

Alastor actually builds a codependency with Vox, like Vox is unique..Vox can be fragile, the feeling of being his friend probably started to blend into genuine care for Vox and Alastor was actually the one to confess first.

It took a lot of energy too, building the confidence but wanting Vox kind of pulled some obsession out of Alastor and in a way that Alastor probably wanted him to himself, forever but Vox wanted to run off so bad and make it big in Hell like he's always talked about and it caused conflict and confusion between the two of them because Alastor sucked at truly expressing those feelings of his.

How in reality while he doesn't feel these emotions often, he's felt them with Vox so that must mean he should keep Vox close. To himself.

Vox notices the slight shifting of Alastor's mood here and there but they probably got in an argument really and big feelings came out during said arguments. Like Alastor admitting those feelings to Vox but in a way that made him angrier, after all he never asked to feel anything or even ..fall in love with his only and best friend.

Vox would probably fall silent, stunned at the words because it's just so... unexpected? Surprising? He isn't sure himself. I can see Alastor panting with ragged breath as Vox looks at him in shock but I can also see him running away the second those words leave his mouth and he leaves like a tornado, running things in his rush.

It left Vox to think in a messy room. That somehow and someway, these emotions were going to strain them, especially if Alastor wanted to talk about it while refusing to do so at the same time..

Lol, just a thought but one I think about often enough.
