I’m so happy I could create a wing piece for you.

Hummingbirds are so colorful and full of life. I love it when they chase each other around playfully, it’s almost like they’re dancing in the sky. So that’s what I wanted to portray here. There are many things that they symbolize, but my favorites are passion, complexity, and vitality, which I think fits Nezumi and Shion perfectly.

A little bit of propaganda for you...

In 2017, I wrote a VLD fic called Three Cups of Cocoa for a gift exchange. I crafted that fic especially for the giftee, using multiple prompts that they requested, including Hance, fluff, winter festival, and first kiss. Well, it turned out the person I wrote it for was a serial exchange scammer, who would join exchanges, receive a fanwork, and then ghost without making something in return. Needless to say, they never commented or even left kudos on the fic.

Two days ago, I submitted the fic to this project, and it appeared on the spreadsheet this morning.

This afternoon, this happened:

It was the first of my works to receive a comment through this project, and I'm thrilled it was this one. It took eight years, but finally someone said something nice about this fic. Thank you, kind commenter, and thank you @nomorezerocomments!

They caused a radiation-fueled disease that spread through the surviving population like wildfire. In people born before the flares, it was fatal. But children born after the world had changed were gifted with an immunity to the symptoms. Instead, the virus caused unexplained changes in their DNA, giving them until then unimaginable abilities to survive their new environments. Of course there are always those that seek to seize those natural gifts and try to control and replicate them, but this time Mother Nature won't be abused so easily."

what is baldur's gate: dark alliance like? i've played the other baldur's gate games but dark alliance seemed quite different so i wasn't sure about it. but you like it? /curious :3

I played it a lot growing up, so I might have a nostalgia bias!

But it's a fun D&D-based RPG that was good in its time. You clear dungeons in locations from D&D lore. You find all kinds of loot that you can sell or keep to beef yourself up. It has a pretty dramatic but generic fantasy plot line.

It's real time combat that's outdated, so the controls are kind of janky. You pick which class you want from the start, archer, fighter, or sorcerer, and have to stick with that through the game. It's not too long, though, so the lack of customization doesn't bother me too much.

It has local co-op play, so I have great memories of playing it with my dad and stepmom.

It probably is, because my post got a lot of notes which means it's a nice little list of people who are now aware of them in some weird sense. They're probably going down the reblog list to find people to send it to as I write this.

I did not expect that post to gain much traction, but it doesn't strike me as particularly odd that this is how they operate either.

Hec-Tor managed a tiny smile, his ears giving the faintest twitch of amusement. “Soup?”

“Oh, yeah! Soup always makes me feel better!” Entrapta said, before she edged closer to his bedside, perching herself on a shelf of her hair. She stared at him, resting her chin atop her hands, and smiled, as though she was waiting for something.

“Um… I appreciate your concern,” he said awkwardly. “But you should probably go, before my Minder realizes you’re here.”
