Vox stood outside the new building he had just managed to have completed. It had taken a little bit of time. Working out of smaller spaces, slowly building his power and influence. Gathering enough souls to do the work he needed them to in order to make this all happen. After ripping out an old building at the center of the entertainment district, all that hard work and dedication had paid off. Now at last they would have somewhere they could really start to show off. A display of their growing power. As the tower he had constructed was made to be a beacon, the center piece of the entire district he was systematically taking over. The Media Demon – everyone would know who he was and they would know that his influence reached every aspect of entertainment all across Hell. That is, all except for one form of media. But no matter! He didn’t need it, not when he would have control over everything else.
It was brightly lit. A mix of pink and blue lights all the way up the sides of it and at the very top was plastered a large neon ‘V.’ Going forward this was where everything was going to be done. Vox had already taken the liberty to make every space inside that they needed for their use. The levels of the tower hold different departments that they currently control. And at the very top would be a penthouse, meant to house them comfortably. Everyone else had already been debriefed and settled into the new building. Vox finalized his own establishment that very afternoon. Now the only person left to introduce this beautiful setting to was his partner. And he was just glowing with a confident pride at how he might take this new setting. Certain that it would be to his liking.
Why did that matter so much to him?
Pushing away the thought that invaded his mind, he quickly reached out to the moth. Sending out the message that he needed him to meet him at the center of the Entertainment Center, ASAP. It was important. Important because he had big news for him. Nevermind the fact that it may seem a little odd that he had saved this little surprise of his for Val and Val alone. And as he stood there waiting for him, he was going over the tour that he planned to give him. The ideas he already had were pouring into his mind. Plans for their future and what was to come next. Oh, with this new space he could conduct next level influence. Newer, better technology. Improved engineered products. More control over the television networks he had already acquired. And, most importantly, there would be an official studio for Valentino to work out of. A top notch setting where the sets could easily be changed out and rearranged to suit his needs. The best cameras that Voxtek currently had out in production.
Even better. Here in this tower, they could occupy the space together. No more having to go to the trouble of meeting up from separate places. Unified completely. A staple to everyone that he and Val were a real threat. They weren’t going anywhere. Despite the nature of Overlords and sinners as a whole, they would be working as a team to slowly push their way to the top. And once they had gotten there, Vox planned to rub it in the faces of everyone who mocked him. Who thought that the idea of getting Overlords to work together was ridiculous. Alone, he was strong - but as a team? They could be unstoppable. That just made so much sense to him. Why work harder, when you could work smarter? That’s exactly what he set out to do and nothing less. This was only the beginning of something real.
@voxnetwork let me know if this works!
