Mitsubishi Cordia XG 1600GSR Turbo '1982–1984

The Mitsubishi Cordia XG 1600GSR Turbo is a Japanese three-door sports coupe hatchback produced between February 1982 and July 1984. The XG model was intended for the Japanese domestic market (JDM) and sold exclusively through the Mitsubishi Galant Shop dealership network, while the technically identical XP version was sold through the Car Plaza network. It was a flagship, technologically advanced model for its time, aimed at a younger audience.

Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 

The VR4 featured all-wheel drive, 4-wheel steering, and active aerodynamics consisting of an electronically-controlled rear spoiler and front air dam. Factory 17″ wheels wear Michelin XGT Z tires measuring 245/45 at all four corners. The rear window is equipped with a wiper and washer combination. The transverse-mounted, 24-valve 3.0L 6G72 V6 features multi-port fuel injection, twin turbochargers, and two individual intercoolers. Factory output was rated at 320 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque, enough to propel the car from zero to 60 mph in less than five seconds in period testing. Power is sent to all four wheels through a Getrag 5-speed manual transmission.
