Albums of the Week! The Misfits Box Set was the runaway winner. I listened to a year’s worth of Misfits, I swear. Haunt’s newly remixed/remastered version of Burst Into Flame is wonderful and spent a lot of time on repeat. I prepared my body for new Necropanther (due in Feb/Mar). Raate is Finnish medieval black metal that rules and I never see anyone else mention them (please try it). Finally, Vredehammer’s Violator is perfect. ☠️ 1. The Misfits - Box Set 2. Haunt - Burst Into Flame 3. Danzig (s/t) 4. Necropanther - Eyes of Blue Light 5. Wraith - Undo The Chains 6. Raate - Sielu, Linna 7. Vader - XXV 8. Cloak - To Venomous Depths 9. Vredehammer - Violator ☠️ What did you listen to this week?

ALBUMS OF THE WEEK! Here’s the albums that got the most track plays out of me. The winner by a hair was Mgła - Exercises in Futility. A modern classic black metal record. Next was Vredehammer’s Violator, a recurring favorite here, and one of my favorite albums of all time. I also played a bunch of 2021 releases, including new drops from Stormkeep, Spectral Wound, Bewitcher, and Mānbryne - all of which I highly recommend and included on my “Top 30” list. I gave Devil Master a try for the first time (good!), and continued with the Polish flavor of the week with albums from Vader and Batushka. . 1. Mgła - Exercises in Futility 2. Vredehammer - Violator 3. Stormkeep - Tales of Othertime (2021) 4. Spectral Wound - A Diabolic Thirst (2021) 5. Bewitcher - Cursed Be Thy Kingdom (2021) 6. Mānbryne - Heilsweg: O udręce ciała i tułaczce duszy (2021) 7. Devil Master - Satan Spits on Children of Light 8. Vader - De Profundis 9. Batushka - Panihida . What was on your playlist this week?
