Star Trek Enterprise Maintenance crew
I went to Vulcan, AB for Vulcon! I made matching Enterprise uniforms for Myself and Voice spider. We're a pretty slick maintenance crew team.
Jadzia Dax - Star Trek Deep Space Nine
I made a trip to Vulcan for Vul-con. to finally get photos of my Dax cosplay.
I made the jumpsuit was made from a poly-wool blend fabric, and a knit spandex undershirt. My pips are chopped dowels painted gold and glued to a regular pin backing. Comm badge was an online purchase and attaches to the jump suit via a small piece of velcro.

if one were to use the term unique, anthony didn’t believe it would be a strong enough word to describe the fellow. quiet, awkward, with funny eyebrows . . . and, he’s staring. not very viscount - y of him. anthony offers a smile to @vulcon, bowing his head slightly. “ have you already been invited to brandy? if not, let this serve as your formal invitation. ”
@vulcon asked : “ some choices cannot be undone . ”
jim’s smile is loose with a sadness that slips cautiously over his tongue ( the taste of it is bitter and freeing : to know he can survive loss is a sweet reminder, to know he has to endure it is a painful stab to his chest ). the stars sprawl out before them, visible behind a screen that seemed far too thin to contain all the danger of the galaxy -- spock stands at his side, as he always does, too far and too close, as he always is. ‘‘ thank you for always finding the time in your busy schedule to burden me with some of your vulcan wisdom. i don’t know how you always manage to say the vaguest thing, but i gotta commend you for it. ’’ his voice is a flat note in his throat, dishing out humour that doesn’t quite land. the guy’s always been a tough audience, though : spock wouldn’t even summon a pity - laugh for him. the planet is fading into the distance as the enterprise pulls further and further away ( by all accounts, jim should be resting in bed ). ‘‘ do you think i made the wrong voice, mister spock? ’’

@vulcon sent: company . silently sit with my muse to comfort them.
It had been a long shot and Jim knew that, but that didn’t stop the disappointment from clouding his features, the smile that didn’t reach his eyes as he shrugged and muttered, “maybe next time.” Jim-- the other Jim, caught his gaze and there was something wordless there that was exchanged between them. Two Captains from a different time, but very much of one mind when it came to understanding one another.
Jim nodded quietly, once, and that seemed to be enough for the Captain who gave him a small gesture in return. The dismissal that Jim was seeking as he fled from the bridge to seek solitude and solace at being outsmarted by a phenomenon he had no control over. Not for the first time he wondered at his own crew, wondered if they were searching for him or if Spock had simply assumed Command and the Enterprise had continued on her course.
He doubted they’d give up on him that easily, but he could never truly curb the traitorous whisperings in his mind that told him he wasn’t worth it. He’d never been worth it.
It wasn’t long before a body silently settled in beside him, comfort radiating in the silence that extended between them and Jim smiled appreciatively across at Spock. This other Spock, the one who had become his friend in the short time they’d shared the same ship.
“I know we’ll beat this thing and find a way to send me back, but patience has never been my strong suit.” There was the ghost of a smile there, wondering if this was a trait he shared with his counterpart or if it was specific just to him.
“I’m afraid you’ll have to contend with a lot more disappointment from me before we see the end of this.”
