𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | They day it’s not about what your meat is made of, it’s how you use it, or something, I dunno. But that’s definitely the motto when it comes to people using an already made vegan burger patty, such as @beyondmeat. @oasiburger, who have been around for a year, have a menu that’s half @beyondmeat and half their own patty creation. Lots of people use @beyondmeat so you have to do something to make it different, and this is where Alexi excels. His Oasi sauce is INCREDIBLE, and almost indescribable. It’s like a burger sauce mixed with a Big Mac sauce. His cheeseburger (as pictured) is a solid winner, and is Dalton burger uses a vegan bacon that’s one of the closest replicas I’ve tried in terms of texture. But for me the ultimate star of the show, and one of the best @beyondmeat burgers I’ve had is his Phoenix burger, with vegan cheddar, honey mustard sauce, crispy onions, and fried aubergine. I like that Alexi has opted out of a standard brioche and gone with a seeded white roll. They’re baked and delivered fresh every day and I’ve always loved this type of roll with a burger. It probably needs to be around 1/4 smaller so it’s not too breaddy, but I like the decision to be different. On the menu are also @this.uk chicken nuggets, which are AMAZING with his Oasi sauce, and also vegan hot dogs, using tofu, and also includes a battered sausage. I also have to shout out the chips, which are nice and big, thick, and crispy. So as I said half the burger menu is @beyondmeat, the other side is made from spelt or quinoa, so there’s a bit of choice there. I REALLY liked all the food here, and I think Alexi can do very well, so go down and give them a try. . . . . . . #beyondmeat #veganburger #veganjunkfood #veganfastfood #veganlondon #londonfoodie #vegan #veganfood #plantburger #burger #cheeseburger #shoredtich #vurger #londonvegan (at Phoenix Bar) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9eFb2JHOBv/?igshid=y0hjfhoee32j
