Who is your favorite actor/actress and where did you first see him or her? While I love my Durin boys, I think my favorite actor is Simon Pegg. He's oddly adorable and absolutely hilarious. I think I first saw him in either Shaun of the Dead or Spaced. (Both are amazing.)

If you suddenly were very rich, what is the first thing you would buy? It depends on what "very rich" means. If very rich means I'm rich enough to quit my job, then the first thing I would buy is a plane ticket to London. I would then spend the next 6 months or so travelling around Europe before hopping over to Asia, then down to New Zealand.

What is something you hope to be able to do before you die? Travel (see #2). Also have a couple cute kids - blaahhh I know, I know. I can't help it.

What book did you read last? The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling). It was a fun read.

What are your favorite movies (I know you can’t just pick one.) Shaun of the Dead, the LoTR trilogy, Stand By Me, I Love You Man, The Boondock Saints, Restrepo, Little Miss Sunshine, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Babies, The Darjeeling Limited, Elf, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moon, Parenthood, The Avengers, and Slapshot

What is something you regret doing or not doing? I regret not taking more risks. I chose an incredibly safe university major/career path that brings me moderate enjoyment but not a lot of money or success. Social risks as well like going out and doing things, or asking out that cute boy I was secretly in love with for years, or never telling off a bitchy "friend" in high school. Shit like that.

If you could look like anyone who would it be? Jennifer Lawrence, man. She's hot to trot.

What sort of less-than-superhero talent would you like to have — e.g. hit every traffic light green, never be late no matter when you start out… The Power of Perfect Hair and Makeup all the time, every day.

If you could go to any period in time safely (not get eaten by dinosaurs) where and when would you like to go? I would go a week into the future to get the winning lottery numbers.
