RANDOM UPDATE: A devlog will be posted on monday and the build with capricorn and taurus for the backers will be finished on monday as well. That build will undergo Q&A (quality assurance to catch bugs), then sent to beta backers on Steam after Q&A process is finished. If you want to preserve the old Taurus build (a SHITTON of things changed from that lol) I don't know how you can do ? But maybe looking into it on the Steam folder. Please do so before the other build is uploaded! That's it! :D I’m excited to share the new things! Meanwhile stay safe while Virgo jumps the fence to avoid taxes with the Golden Alpaca.

I call this map “such depth”, cuz it’s prolly the coolest interior I did in my life, although it’s very tiny. It has, indeed, such depth, such 3D....

As for the development update! May be doing the post around the weekend or by the eeeend of the month! :D I think keeping up with monthly posts will be cool to list the things we’ve been working on along the month, and doesn’t occupy a lot of time, which is cool, since I live off development nowadays. 8BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB

So, this is Adelaide, Mortis’ waifu that I mentioned earlier. Their families have a dispute and they don’t let Adelaide and Mortis to live happily ever after =(

These are some of Taurus’ maps I’m making right now to showcase the new gameplay on a future trailer that may come soon! The way maps are made right now, I can add secret passages very easily!

As you can see I’m still working on the collisions for this specific map, and all collisions are based on objects, either boxes or triangles that can easily be reshaped to fit in different areas. This will allow Virgo to close in to any tile much better and more organically than it was on RPG Maker MV. 

The collision grid is currently 6x6 (while it was 24x24 in RMMV) to be more precise with tile shapes. Other map elements will also be displayed on top of Virgo if she gets behind them and appear below her if she’s in front, due to a very nice script!

With layers and Game Maker Studio 2′s autotile system it’s much easier to make maps appear less square-y overall!

BTW, anyone know if it’s ok to name characters as famous people? I have here Madonna and Beethoven already. Kierkegaard is next! I’ll probably just edit their names just a little for the reference to remain obvious. :0

Thought I could show how I start making the maps for them not to look too ‘boxy’!

Edit: If you're making non zoomed maps it's best using square tool for that as they're quicker to use. Since my maps are zoomed I don't have to make them this size, tho, it's too big, so I use this tool. (And if I'm making bigger maps, I use square!)
