Seongwoo dropped his books when you saw you walk by

you were as beautiful as ever

but he’d knew that you’d never look at him the same way he looked at you

more or less, you wouldn’t look at anyone that way anyways

you were too focus on your college degree to date 

when you looked over at him, he frantically looked away as he picked up his books

you were on the phone with your friend as you helped him 

you noticed his books brought you back memories from your first year in college

“what? there’s no way I’d date someone younger than me if I wanted to date..” 

he nodded to thank you and you nodded back as you went on your way

clenching his heart, he was slightly discouraged to hear that

you were his upperclassman; on your last year of college

whereas he just enrolled as a freshman

he took it upon himself to change your mind

he checked his phone and widened his eyes

“I’M LATE FOR WORK!!”

with all his might, he dashed to the bubble tea shop on campus

“you know if you’re late, I’m gonna have to demote ya..” Seongwoo’s manager sighed

“but I don’t wanna do that since you bring in a lot of female customers.. so.. don’t be late,” the manager placed his hand on Seongwoo’s shoulder and gave him a thumb’s up

10 minutes into his shift, customers came flooding in

he saw you sighing as your friend was dragging you to the register

Seongwoo’s eyes tried not to be reeling back to you but he couldn’t help it

“hey I gotta go to the bathroom, if you get to the register and I’m not there, get me a pink lychee with strawberry jellies okay?” your friend winked as she went over the cute worker to ask where the bathroom was

suddenly it was your turn and both you and Seongwoo were nervous

well Seongwoo was nervous because he was in your presence 

and you were nervous because you didn’t know what to get

“um.. wh-what can I get for you-u..” he bit on his tongue at the end of his sentence; he felt embarassed

but you were too busy scanning the menu for what you wanted

“uh.. a medium pink lychee with strawberry jellies for my friend...and....” 

you looked up at him at the end of your sentence, “what do you recommend?”

his palms were getting sweaty as he gulped down his nervousness

“do you want something fruity? or do you prefer milk teas?” maybe Seongwoo could find out what kind of person you are by what drinks you prefer

you placed your hand on your chin and pouted; Seongwoo’s heart was clinging onto it’s dear life, it was probably the cutest thing he’s seen

“I heard the lavender taro milk tea was good... could I get a medium one of that with regular boba?” 

he blinks out of his daydream (of going on dates with you) and nods as he punches in the total amount

“that’d be 5 dollars..” he mumbles quietly

you furrowed your brows, “did you add in my order?”

Seongwoo looks over his shoulder casually and replies, “it’s on the house..for here or to go?”

you blinked at him a couple of times before handed over your card

“for here....aren’t you...” you say as he proceeds with the transaction, “the guy who dropped books this morning?”

Seongwoo nods as he sends you a smile

“I don’t like owing people...so that’s why your drink was on the house,” he hands back your card

“it was just an act of kindness...” you walked away as your friend comes back from the bathroom

“you talked to the cutest worker here!?” she slaps you on the back

“well.. he is nice.. remember when I told you over the phone that I helped a guy who dropped his books, it was him.. he said my drink was on the house...”

“well he made me pay for your drink..”

you chuckled at your friend

you and your friend sat down to get some classwork done

Seongwoo clenches his fists, “yes.. she doesn’t really care for me.. but.. just being near her.. just seeing her once in my day, makes my day.. she makes me happy regardless if she likes me or not...”

you leaned forward to hear more of what he’s saying but you stepped on crumpled newspaper; causing the both of them to look at you 

“s-sorry..” you muttered as you went on your way

you felt guilty for hurting two people without even knowing

“y/n! wait!” Seongwoo tried to follow you but the girl held his wrist to prevent him from going

somehow, Seongwoo caught up to you

slowly looking over your shoulder, you could tell that there was no way he could be lying with a set of eyes rimmed with building tears

no guy has ever gave you a clear reason why they liked you; they always tried to go around the fact that they only liked you because you were pretty

you took a deep breath in and replied to him, “you’re persistent..”

his eyes left his shoes and were met with your eyes

the fact you were giving him a glimmer of hope made his heart swell up

a/n: omg thank u, sorry for the wait! i hope u get to like this!!!

Your hand struggles to find its way in-between numerous tubes, and possibly wires at this point—connected to your body. A few untangling here and there later, and your fingers finally reach its destination, perfectly slipping right through Jisung’s own.

Suddenly, an idea pops right into your head. Like an old dusty lightbulb you forgot to open, finally having the chance to light. “Jisung, hand me your phone.”

Jisung, having to blink a few times, slowly gets his phone from his pocket. His eyes non-existent with his eyebrows stitched too close to each other, a confused look plastered upon his face. “What do you need it for?”

Seeing the bags under his eyes gradually grow heavier and darker has definitely made you feel guilty these past few months. He always made sure he was with you each morning until afternoon, because of course he still had to work at night. But every time you ask him to go home and take some rest himself, he would always shut you off–telling you it’s okay and not to worry about him. But how could you not? It was time you did something about this, because you would surely regret it if you didn’t at least help him.

“Just give it to me!” You playfully slap his hand.

“Fine, here you go,” he immediately hands it to you. “No need to get mad! Look at the monitor your heart rate is increasing! Aish,” Jisung rolls his eyes at you jokingly.

You laugh at his expression before turning your attention towards his phone. “There,” you hand it back to him after a few minutes.

He squints his eyes, trying to decipher what you just did. “A dating app?!” His eyes were now big, like really big–you always found it cute how his eyes grew whenever he gets surprised. You chuckle. Unfortunately, he wasn’t having any of it. “Are you crazy?” He almost shouts at you. Making you not move yourself. “I don’t need this! What are you trying to do? I’m going to be with you forever, okay! Stop this non-sense” Now he was yelling, not caring anymore if those in the other room would hear.

“What do you mean? Jisung, please!” You tug at his hand. Struggling to fight back your tears. “Look at me!” You tug at his hand harder. “Look at me!” But tears have proven themselves stronger, so you no longer hold it in. “I have tubes coming in and out of everywhere in my body! And look at you! Look at everyone in my life! You all look so tired and because of what? Because of me who’s probably not even going to live another month anymore!” You let go of his hand, quickly wiping away your fallen tears.

“We’re going to make it through this,” Jisung takes your hand back. “Promise me we’ll get through this? I don’t care if barely get enough sleep, I love you and I’m staying with you. No matter how hard it gets, because I love you,” he tightens his hold on your hand, “I love you so much and I could love you so much more.” You notice as he, too, lets his tears overpower him.

“You’ve heard what the doctor said yesterday,” you look at him, “you were here, Jisung, you heard all of it.” Your eyes never leaving his. “And I need you to be happy,” your sobs becoming louder. “I just want you to be happy,” you remove your hand from his—and carefully move it towards his cheek, wiping away his tears with your thumb. “With or without me.

Jisung, not believing everything you were saying, starts to get up from his chair. “You can’t tell me what to do, because I’ve already decided. You’re the only one I’m going to love for the rest of my life,” he looks at you sternly before turning towards the door. “With or without you here with me.” And promptly closes the door behind him quietly.

note: I ALWAYS HAD THIS PROMPT IN MIND FOR JAEHWANNIE BUT JIHOON WAS A SURPRISE GUEST BUT I HOPE Y’ALL LIKE IT~

you ran your fingers through Jaehwan’s hair

he was struck by the Nemuri-Lethe disease; which has caused him to fall into a deep slumber 

as time moves forward, his memories will deteriorate

“I can’t lose you ...” you muttered as you laid your head onto his bed

how he got to this state.. was because of you

and it killed you inside knowing that he’ll never know how much you loved him  

you guys were the best of friends.. he could’ve never known about your secret feelings for him

you rushed back to your desk and researched about how to cure this disease 

you dove your head into book and articles about the disease 

you felt something brush up against your leg

you looked down and saw your furry companion, Jihoon, your rabbit

he was the most dog-like rabbit you’ve ever met

he was more like Jaehwan’s dog though

Jaehwan said an accident happened to where Jihoon became a rabbit 

the only thing you said about it was that, “that kind of stuff only happens in movies..”

when you got up, he started to hop over to an empty, separated gazebo 

it was like the house was made around the gazebo

you and Jaehwan used to write songs and read books under the gazebo as Jihoon would dance around to Jaehwan’s strums of the guitar 

you grazed your hand over the wooden frame of the gazebo with the dried out red spider lilies that were scattered on the ground

you remembered the time when he tried to stay awake as you were reading away after he came home from work with a bouquet of red spider lilies, your favorite

you were baffled, wishful hoping

you just chuckled at his remark

not knowing that, that was gonna be the last moment you had with Jaehwan until you knew he was struck with Nemuri-Lethe disease

you brought him to the doctor the next day, wondering and panicking about why he didn’t.. couldn’t wake up

“how did this happen...” you sobbed between your words

the doctor places his hand on your shoulder, to give you some reassurence

you sprung up from your seat, “they’re harmless though..”

“it’s really rare for someone to react this way but... but I don’t think that Jaehwan is from this time..”

you looked at him all confused

“I know this sounds weird, but I believe that Jaehwan is from the future.. his physicality and blood indicates that he’s body has futuristically modified; we haven’t even seen this type of modifications before.. we would.. we would like to watch over him.. for science.. something about his body modifications tell us that could tell us how to watch out for secret poisons and allergens for the future...”

you couldn’t help but to give him a disgusted look

you wanted to help the future, but if your future didn’t have Jaehwan, you didn’t want to risk it all for nothing

even though it was hard, you piggybacked Jaehwan and gave one look at the doctor

“they’re extinct now.. it’s because with body modification procedures that didn’t match up to all allergens, red spider lilies cause the most deadly diseases to humankind. the government was not willing to give up the body modifications for those beautiful flowers..” 

the whole time you were talking Jaehwan was just intrigued by your eyes, voice.. somehow you made him feel.. at peace

“that painting of that flower there... is that suppose to be a bouquet of red spider lilies?” he asked

there was a pretty flower boy at your school, Bae Jinyoung

but he was just your daily eye candy

(there’s no way he’d fall for someone like me...)

so you never went out of your way to get to know him, even though he’s in your class

and he had sooo many fangirls

it would’ve been a dangerous and risky thing to get to know him out of the blue

this morning; everything was going the way it usually does

you walked into class; usually the first one in class

but today, you’ve saw Jinyoung in the room first

he looks up at you, “good morning, y/n”

you quickly lowered your head and bowed as you made your way to your seat

Jinyoung saw it and came over to envelop himself over you

you were surprised the many things that happened in that short of a time frame

Jinyoung looks at you, “did it get on you?

you shook your head as you dusted some chalk off of his bangs

he stormed over to the culprit, the rich girl because obviously she had chalk all over her skirt and shoulder

“you..better leave y/n alone or else...” he glared at her

Jinyoung then came back to take your hand and led you to your desk

making sure that there weren’t any other tricks up her sleeves

Jinyoung was about to turn around to go back to his seat

“hey...thanks.. a lot..”

he turns around with a smile, “no problem..could I... could I get your number?”

this was probably everyone’s first time Jinyoung going out of his way to talk to a girl

and asking for their number

“uh sure...”

AFTER THAT DAY

you guys constantly went out to get your projects done

Wonpil called it “dates”

“I beg to differ” you’d tell him

“I’m calling this “Project: Make it Happen” you and Jinyoung are already the talk of the school so might as well” Wonpil states

but if you really thought about it... why would you guys work on your projects at a crepe shop? and talk about your aspirations in life?

you began to get sick and you told Jinyoung to work on his project on his own for the time being

DING DONG

your housekeeper opened the door and started to blush

“uh.. miss/mr. y/n...your boyfriend it here~”

“HE ISN’T MY BOY (insert wheezing cough) MY BOYFRIEND!!”

you trotted downstairs

“what are you doing here.. I’m sick... I don’t want to get you sick”

Jinyoung smiled

“it’s a partner project..how can I work on it by myself..”

you were slightly flushed but you blamed the sickness for it

you gestured him to your room

“make sure you keep the door open~” your housekeeper dashed into the kitchen for tea and snacks

“I SWEAR TO (cough cough)..”

Jinyoung pats you on your back

“are you okay?”

you pulled your hood over your face

“I t-told you I’m sick..”

you both sat down at the coffee table in the middle of your room

“your house is big...” 

he looks around

you usually kept to yourself and were fairly mature so it took him by surprise to see lots of bright cars and concert posters on your walls

but he kept that to himself

you both quietly worked on the project together

“hey y/n isn’t this reversed?”

he leans over to you, with his arm pointing to problem around your shoulders

you kinda moved back as you looked at him and the papers

before you could say anything

“AHCHOOO”

you sneezed onto his face

“OH SHIT I’M SO SORRY!”

you were wiping his face with your sleeve and he was just laughing

(I’ve always seen him smile but this was the first time.. I’ve ever seen him laugh...it’s...cute)

“now I’m gonna get sick.. so we can be the sick duo together ahahhahahaha get it? sick duo?”

he was laughing a little too hard at his joke but you couldn’t help but laugh

you both went back to work 

Jinyoung catches you being drowsy and he guided your head to his shoulder

he leans back, using his arms to hold him up as you were snoring softly on his shoulder/chest

your housekeeper walks in and gasps

(THIS IS SO CUTE) she thinks to herself

Jinyoung brings his finger to his lips and she nods and placed the tray of tea and snacks on the table

about 20 minutes later

you woke up 

“hey there sleepy head”

you looked up and your face was so close to him 

out of surprised, you headbutted into his chin

“DAMMIT I’M SORRY AGAIN”

he just laughs

“you’re actually pretty ditzy... it’s cute...”

that brought you to look at him

“wh-what?”

he looks at you with his hand rubbing his chin

“you’re cute.. you’ve always been...I was..I was just not confident to approach you... so ..I was glad that you’re my partner for this project...” 

he lowers his hand and rubs the back of his neck 

“so like.. even after this project...can we still be partners??”

“wait..what?”

Jinyoung takes a deep breath and looks at you

“will you be my boy/girlfriend?”

you quickly lowered your head to “cough” 

you were in lots of shock

you nodded without making eye contact with him

“ye-yeah..”

he pats your head and lets out a sigh of relief

“I don’t know what I’ve would’ve done if you said no...”

THE NEXT DAY // PRESENTATION DAY

you and Jinyoung both executed the project perfectly; within time limits and project visuals on point

after the project, everyone would’ve thought that you and Jinyoung wouldn’t talk to each other anymore

but they noticed your guys eating lunch together and holding hands

It’s not quite often you get to read on Sunday mornings in bed, it was always either you have work to cram for the next day or you were running errands. What was even rarer is that Minhyun was with you and he has his entire arm wrapped around you with his head nestled on your belly, making it his pillow.

Before turning the page, you take a look at the sight of Minhyun still sleeping. You smile and instinctively, you run your hands over his hair. Sighing, how did I get this lucky, huh?

A few pages later and the scent of freshly brewed coffee enters your room. You are already itching to get your morning coffee but Minhyun is still sleeping so comfortably. You quietly close your book and reach for the side table. Your sudden shift, unfortunately, has awaken Minhyun from his sleep. “Sorry,” you whisper. “But I kind of need my morning coffee.”

Minhyun turns his head to finally face you, propping his arm ever so lightly on your belly so he could lift his head a little. It is during little moments like this that really make your heart flutter. Seeing Minhyun’s bare face in the morning–somehow puffier, fluffier rather, is the cutest thing in the entire world. You swear you feel your heart skip a beat when he yawns as he simultaneously blinks both of his puffy eyes. It really is the cutest thing ever.

“No,” he tightens his grip on you. Now both of his arms has entrapped you. He places his head back on your stomach, closing his eyes. “You’re soft and warm and I don’t want you to move.”

“You know how much I need my coffee,” you giggle. You can’t help but move your hand to ruffle his already messy hair once more. Your fingers trace it down to his cheek, cupping it. “Minhyun…” You whine.

“Ah,” he smiles. “I like it when you say my name.”

“Well then, Minhyun please let me get out. Please, Minhyun. Pretty please, Minhyun? Minhyun…” You squeeze his arms, hoping he’d loosen his grip and finally let you get your coffee.

He lets out a laugh. “Okay, okay.” You were about to stand up when suddenly, he lifts your entire body. Somehow managing to carry you with both of his arms, you know, bridal style. “Let’s go get you your coffee, princess.” He winks.

“Minhyun! Let me down!” You almost scream at him out of surprise.

“Pretty sure it’s the hair you have to let down, not the princess itself,” he jokes.

You hit him on the chest. “This isn’t funny! I’m too heavy you’re going to hurt yourself!”

“Hey, you’re not heavy. I’m just weak. And that’s why I’ve been working out,” he raises both of his eyebrows playfully. “So I could do this.” He places a kiss on your forehead.

When you reach the kitchen, he finally puts you down, careful so you could stand properly and not topple yourself over. You close your eyes as you inhale the smell of fresh coffee and smile. “I might actually start to think you love coffee more than me,” Minhyun leans on the kitchen cupboards and crosses his arms.

“You haven’t figured that out before yet?” You tease Minhyun without facing him.

“Ya!” He yells at you, wide-eyed.

You turn to face him with the cup of coffee warm between your hands. You motion Minhyun to come closer and he lowers his head, levelling it with yours. Your other hand lets go of the mug as you brush his hair that was covering his eyes. The warm feeling making him close his eyes and smile.

You return the favor from earlier and plant a kiss on his forehead. “Don’t worry, I bought grapefruit juice yesterday. It’s already in the fridge.”

A car suddenly turns left without bothering to use his turn signal, making Jihoon curse in an inaudible hiss. He presses on the car’s horn too heavily–without looking like he’ll let it go soon. So, you instinctively hold his hand. “Hey, it’s okay.” You pat his hand for further reassurance.

His once grumpy face turns into this really soft expression. A small smile forms between his lips–and his entire face turns red in no less than a second. You chuckle at how cute he looks trying to stay focused on the road as he also tries to conceal just how much you made him blush just by innocently touching his hand. Unfortunately, his entire face betrays him. “I think it’s adorable how easily you blush,” you tell him, not even bothering to turn to look away.

He scoffs, “I’m red because I got angry at that stupid driver.” His childhood acting days surely paid off as his face turns serious once again–his entire focus on the road. Wow, he looks so handsome, you thought. “Can you please stop staring? I’m trying to drive here,” he snaps you out of your thoughts.

“Why? I like looking at you. I like knowing you’re here beside me. I love being with you,” you tease him, trying to make him blush once more. “You know, I…I just feel safe with you. Like nothing bad can happen.” Even if you were teasing him, only god knows how true each of these words are. You let out these words as if they were always there, because they were. Your love for Jihoon has always been there–and it has no plans of leaving.

He scratches his head, masking his sudden embarrassment with a laugh. It was obvious he was looking for words to say after you catch him off guard. Now he looks like a mess, a blushing mess for that matter. “Whatever you are doing, stop. You don’t want to get into an accident, do you?” He says.

“So much for feeling safe with you, huh.” You snicker, turning to finally face in front. Jihoon abruptly steers the wheel making the car jerk unexpectedly. You shriek out of fear, but before you could comprehend what had just happened, you hear Jihoon laugh. “Jihoon, you—“

Your words were cut off when Jihoon suddenly grabs a handful of your face, squishing it with his hands. Without leaving his eyes on the road, he giggles. “I like it when you say my name.”

“Good. Because that’s all you’re going to hear from now on, accompanied by a number of cuss words,” you struggle to let him understand you. But it was of no hope as he has still got his hand practically compressing the entire bottom half of your face. Nothing but funny sounds come out of your mouth.

“So cute!” He smiles and looks at you as the car has now approached a stoplight. Now that both of his hands are free, he plays with both of your face. Nothing but the word cute comes out of his mouth. You finally swat at his hand, making him let go. “Well, somebody’s grumpy.” He laughs.

You stick your tongue out at him, “Too bad. I was planning on making you stop for a drive thru so I could treat you to some chicken. But I’m not in the mood anymore,” you retort.

Jihoon stares at you for a few seconds before he suddenly pouts and crosses both of his arms, “Jihoonie seoksanghae.”

You turn into a fit of laughter, “Okay! Okay! I’m sold!” Trying to steady your breathing from all the laughter, you wipe away the tears that were starting to form in your eyes. “All that aegyo for the love of chicken?”

“It worked, didn’t it?” He raises his eyebrow in a form of success and grabs ahold of the steering wheel once again. Turning on his right signal, about to enter the nearest drive thru. A smile never leaving his face.

You thought of how cute he always looks whenever he was about to eat chicken. You love seeing him happy. You love him, entirely. Little do you know, his smile–of course it’s always been because of you. Because you, too, made him feel safe–like nothing bad can happen. Okay, I retract, maybe five percent of that probably is because of chicken.

prompt: (fluff #13) “God, you’re so beautiful.”

Your nap was disrupted when a sudden sound of a click and a burst of light invaded your once blacked out state. “What the f–” You turn to quickly lunge yourself towards Sungwoon, but you feel a stream of drool trickle down your chin.

“Aigoo! So cute!” He laughs at you. “Look at my baby! Literally looking like a baby!” He stands there in front of you as he continues to gush at your completely embarrassing condition.

“Delete that! Now!” You yell at him while covering your entire face with a pillow.

“I can’t!” He says. “Don’t get our pillows smelling like your sour saliva!”

“What do you mean you can’t?” Now you throw the pillow at him. Unfortunately, he catches it with his hand.

“It’s a film camera, dummy!” He tells you.

“I’m going to break that camera in half, Sungwoon.” You glare at him.

“Not if I get it developed now!” He runs through the front door.

Panicked at the sudden thought of how others are going to be seeing your photo, you grab your coat and run towards the front door in no time.

“Sungwoon, get over here!” You practically yell at him inside the shop.

“Too late,” he sticks his tongue out at you. He shows you the developed photos, ranging from your very first date down to your recent, up until the photo he took of you this morning.

“How long have you been keeping photos of us?” You shuffle through each photograph one by one. Reminded of every feeling that you once felt in that exact same moment captured in a single frame.

“Ever since we met, babe. Ever since we met,” he smiles at you. “I only took one per occasion. That’s why I only got these developed now. The very last photo I took with this roll was just this morning, as you might recall.” He chuckles and places his hand on your head, ruffling your hair.

Your hand gets ahold of the last photo, within it you find yourself holding onto the pillow so tight–your hair a complete mess, drool coming out of your mouth. Somehow your body was positioned in a way you possibly can’t make when you’re conscious. “Sungwoon, you…” You turn to glare at him.

He grabs the photo from your hand and takes a look at it, “God, you’re so beautiful. I can’t believe I’m the one who gets to see this almost everyday for the rest of my life.”

“For the rest of your life?” You raise an eyebrow at him.

“For the rest of my life, baby.” He smiles at you and inserts your photo inside his wallet. “Let’s go eat?” He nudges at you. “My treat. Apology for waking you up from your nap.” You couldn’t help but smile.

“Let’s tell your grandpa you’re finally getting married first,” you lift your hand to show off the ring he placed there himself just last night.
