I GOT A JOB TODAY!!!! I felt like having something special for dinner, so I made vegan wild mushroom pasta with oyster mushrooms, pheasant backs, and wild ramps. Garnished with my first ever morels and more ramps!!! All foraged by me!

Forageslop curry. Where i take a packet of curry and add random stuff i foraged. this has knotweed, curly dock, oyster mushrooms, and mica caps. (Also tofu and rice, which i did not forage)

Garden goods!!! Currants from the bush in the back, broccoli we got to a little bit late, cucumbers, and green peppers.

Found a bunch of unripe serviceberry bushes, I will definitely be back in a few weeks.

Finished my first day of work!! I’m a landscaper/gardener at a vineyard, it’s super fun and i think im going to like it there! They let me take some of the weeds we pulled out, lol. Got a bunch of purslane, some milkweed, and violet greens. Also two radishes from the chef’s garden. Also, I was given native lupine seedlings!

Yesterday I offered some golden oysters I foraged to the owner of a local coffee shop, and she said she did want them, so this morning before work I brought her a bag. A customer who heard our conversation about foraging also mentioned the location of some mulberry trees in town, so later I want to check those out. Also planning on going foraging on a trail a town over tonight!
