These brownie waffles are a delightful twist on traditional waffles. They are easy to make and perfect for a special breakfast treat or a dessert. The rich cocoa flavor and optional chocolate chips make them extra indulgent.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 large eggs. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chocolate chips optional.
Instructions: Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot. Mix the cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl with a whisk. Put the eggs in a different bowl and beat them. Then add the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. Don't mix it too much; a few lumps are fine. You can add the chocolate chips if you want to. Spray nonstick cooking spray or melt some butter and use it to grease the waffle iron. Use the amount of brownie waffle batter that comes with your waffle maker to pour it onto a waffle iron that has already been heated. Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to cook the waffles until they are golden brown and cooked all the way through. Take the waffles out of the iron carefully, and serve them warm. Add whipped cream, fresh berries, ice cream, or anything else you like on top of them. Have fun with your tasty brownie waffles!
