Tsukasa begins to stir, his eyes blinded with shattered glass, and he can feel a pressure above him, and the point of a blade resting against his skin, just over his heart.
Ikari: Good morning sunshine.
Tsukasa: If I'm not dead, clearly you want me to say something.
Ikari: Of course. I was going to kill you for what you did to me, but unlike the others... Well you never pretended to even like me did you? So I'm willing to forgive you for betraying me.
Tsukasa: Such mercy.
Ikari: I'll forgive you, but you'll have to do two things for me. I want you to send a message for me, and answer a question.
Tsukasa: That's it?
Ikari: That's it.
He pondered for a second, but the answer was obvious to him; Tsukasa had no plans on dying for someone else.
Tsukasa: Then I'm all ears. By necessity.
Ikari: The question first, what can you tell me about the others? Yuuske and Mari, where are they and what are they doing?
Tsukasa: Well, the annexation was a fun bit of Mikoto history to watch. We're an empire now! But... Tianguo forces are lining up on the border. We can't handle them yet.
Ikari: I didn't ask about that. I asked where the others were.
Tsukasa: I'm getting to that. Patience.
Ikari: Get to it faster.
Tsukasa: Mari is in Tianguo. If you want to find her, look for Lord Wo. If you want to find Yuuske, he's on the other side of the continent.
Ikari: Thank you.
Tsukasa: And you also asked for a favor.
Ikari: Ah yes, the message is "I miss you."
With that, the pointed pressure on his chest suddenly grew and pieced through into his heart. From his fading conciousness the last words he heard were "Send that to the other one you betrayed."
