Roads Redesigned
One of the small things that has always bugged me with The Sims 1 is the default, jet black roads used on lots that do not match the grey roads seen in the neighborhood view.
So I've created a new, more accurate, grey asphalt road texture.
Download Road Texture Open the .zip file and place "SimLaneCC-StreetAsphalt.flr" into the "Game Data > Floors" folder
I have also created new, more accurate road markings.
However - since it's not possible to create road markings that are baked into a floor tile, I have instead made them decals that can be applied over any floor tile!
Includes a yellow double center line, thick white crosswalk lines, and thin white shoulder lines. All found in Decorative > Misc.
Download Road Markings Open the .zip file and place the "SimLaneCC-RoadMarkings" folder into the Downloads folder.
Very Important:
Be VERY careful when DELETING ANYTHING while you have the "move_objects on" cheat enabled - ESPECIALLY around roads & sidewalks.
There are hidden objects that are essential to the game - spawn points for sims/vehicles etc. If you need to delete a decal, make sure you definitely have the decal selected before hitting delete. Hidden objects will look something like this...
I would suggest making a backup of your lots before editing the roads, just in case you accidentally delete a hidden object without noticing. Just work slowly and carefully.
Optional: Stop Line / Stop Sign
Stop Lines were only seen on roads in the original, pre-Unleased version of the neighborhood. Created stop lines so whether you want to include them is up to you.
Download Stop Line Open the .zip file and place the "SimLaneCC-RoadMarkingStop" folder into the Downloads folder.
If you choose to include Stop Lines - it makes sense to have a Stop Sign to go with them. By default they are only accessible in Buy Mode on community lots - so the optional file enables them in Buy Mode on residential lots.
Download Stop Sign Open the .zip file and place "StopSign.iff" into folder into the ExpansionPack3 folder.
90s Sabrina Bedroom Wallpaper
Watching 90s Sabrina the Teenage Witch and playing The Sims 1 was my childhood - so I made the iconic purple wallpaper from Sabrina's bedroom I was obsessed with as a kid!

Corporate Paneling Walls by Ruckustiffle Designs
Efficient, clean, modern — this is how we describe our paneling!
I’ve had some random textures extracted for years on the off chance I’d ever decide to do anything with them, so here goes. I’ve always been a fan of wall sets, so I tried to make these as versatile as possible.
There are 48 wallpapers in total (as individual pieces).
Variable number of channels, depending on design.
Can be found under Paneling.
Custom thumbnails and JPG previews for easier locating.
You can mix and match most of them.
Matching pattern HERE.
Issues: the set wallpapers sometimes display a tiny border on the side(s) where they connect; simply recolor them to something else, then recolor them back. Apply this preset to all pieces (even if it’s identical to mine!) and the issue should go away.

Hello! I hope you're doing well. I have a question that I'm hoping you might be able to answer. Do you know where I can find the wall object on the right side of the Hollywood Regency Den set? It's not included in the Store set, and I'm struggling to find it anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Hi! If you mean the panel-looking deco item to the right, that looks to me like the two pieces of wallpaper you see in the front — probably a composite of the bottom part of that wallpaper with a top part that matches the gray wallpaper (looking closely, the perspective on the top half above the "panel" is off). The two art deco wallpaper pieces are from Late Night, and you can download BGC versions below.
