walnut is a wood used often by intelligent witches and wizards. this wood is "incredibly versatile and adaptable" in the words of ollivander, and it only cares for the intellect of its user. it is of no surprise then, that this wood is found in the hands of brilliant magical inventors and duellists alike.
dragon heartstring is the most powerful of the three cores used by the great garrick ollivander; however, it is also the most easiest to turn to the dark arts.
dragon heartstring wands bond strongly with their first owner, but can be turned to others. they love flamboyant spells and pick up magic quickly.
the combination of walnut wood and dragon heartstring is quite interesting and spells for an immensely powerful witch or wizard. this wand means its owner is both intelligent and deadly, and isn't that scary? this wand is one that can make a brilliant duellist, and with both a morally ambiguous wood and core, will have great aptitude for the dark arts.
the core and wood may be ambiguous in morals, but they are also not the most loyal. interestingly, this is counteracted by the flexibility of the wood, which is unyielding. unyielding woods make for immensely loyal wands and also indicate the same loyalty in their owners.
this wand is also fairly long, at almost 13 inches, which indicates yet again a predisposition towards the dark arts — many dark witches and wizards favour long wands — however, it also means that precision is not its forte. this wand's length also indicates a fairly tall owner.
all in all, this wand indicates a quite powerful duellist with an aptitude for the dark arts, and one who is extremely loyal.
