Surprised no one has done this with this audio yet, so I’m doing it!

Thought it about time I start some animation stuff for TOA, this is the first one I had in mind because it fit so well!!

This is so on part with what Calista would say. Jim grew on her so quickly and who can blame her for liking the strange armoured youngling she found in the dungeons.

Speaking of hidden gems how the hey I left this one out I don’t know.

Idea about Jim meeting his troll half for the first time in the dark realm and gaining a whole other side of himself.

Listened to Jim transforms by Tim Davies the whole way through finishing this and I’ve got chills.

I completely forgot I drew this. I had a concept of what trolls would be like if they were more like the dragons from httyd and more animalistic.

I had this whole plot line set during medieval times, with Toby as the hiccup of the story and Jim being his best friend who was set to be the next leading warrior of his tribe after his fathers death. However Jim mysteriously disappeared one day. Toby goes in searching for him and ends up finding this strange troll creature, which is forbidden in the kingdom. That had taken a liking to him.

Toby helps the troll escape the kingdom in search for a troll heard to take care of him and learns how trolls aren’t all that bad, and of a mysterious plot involving an evil version of Merlin… anyways heres a sketch of the troll family!

Also a ruff sketch of both kanjigar and Draal, along side Imprisoned newly transformed Jim with Daya.

The Ice horn dragon from @flambymi The Frozen maw, new species of dragon from the httyd x Trollhunters universe.

I saw this new dragon and had to draw it! Hope it stays true to the vision, I did have to improvise a tad just on the details, such as patterns, all of it based on animals in real life, such as leopard sharks and snow leopards. And the practical uses they have for them such as camouflage.

Wow, have not posted in a while. Life has been … life. Anyways I’m back and thought I might share with you a process on an idea I’ve been working on.

Basically, it’s Jim’s character development as the stages of the suns life cycle, seeing how much sun symbolism Jimbo has.

Nothing particularly amazing happens, and even though Toby's decision is different from Jim's, nothing really justified a drawing, in my opinion. It's true that there are other things to illustrate in Chapter 28, especially a passage FULL of information. I was actually quite surprised that no one mentioned it in the comments XD, I think you were all focused on Jim and Toby. Which is perfectly understandable 👀❄️.)

Glorpshmak, I'll have to remember that when I reach that point. Anyone have ideas about Glorpshmak and how the trolls would celebrate?

Idea for Glorpshmak. It’s a troll holiday celebrated every new century, celebrating the renewal of the heartstone.

It’s very special to trolls because it is a time where the heartstone replenishes its energy and brings with it a chance at new life for troll kind. It is a wonderful celebration of tradition, food, parties and annual festivals involving very entertaining and brutal competitions. Troll Markets is especially celebratory due to being such an eclectic mix of tribes and traditions!

But it is especially special for partners seeking to start families as it is a time where the heartstone is ready to help give life to new younglings with heart stone crystals.

Trollmarket has only had four Glorpshmak renewal celebrations in Arcadia. though the last few have had concerns with a decline in the heart stones energy. Due to the war and the imbalance of the magical to mortal world. Very few if any younglings were born in there most recent century also due to the changling threat and ever growing presence of gum gums.

Yet despite this the celebration of 2020 was still held, kanjigar watching on with pride at how far there Trollmarket had come since the war.

Blinky and Aaarrrgghh have traditional garments they decorate there horns with each century to celebrate, each year a new carved symbol into each garment to welcome another bright century since the war.

And others to mark there growing friendship special to them.

Draal loves competing in every single competition ( mainly to prove to his father that he’s worthy to fight by the Trollhunters side) and others because it’s a lot of fun and he usually always wins.

Vendel enjoys the festivities, particularly the story’s shared of the times both previous and after the war. (He also loves the special beverages and recipe’s that come about every celebration).

There is also a memorial celebration held to honour fallen warriors and family members, individual tribes having there own unique ways of honouring there fallen kin.

The same goes for a special even held to honour the Trollhunters that have protected them all those millennium. A great feast held after involving plenty of glug.

The festival last about a whole month, or however as long it takes for the heartstone to renew itself. It has varied in recent centuries.

That’s my head cannon for the holidays anyways.

I’m back with my Hellaverse crossover!! Starting of with angel Jim and Toby.

So carrying on from the law established by the first post, this is before the events of Jim being sent to hell and loosing his memory’s. I kept thinking hard about what the inciting incident would be for these two to separate, and much like in the original show, it’s not really a choice.

The previous holder of “The sigil” kanjigar, was slain during a mission on earth. Following his demise the sigil was lost. In truth however, in its weekend state it finds its way to a worthy soul and tethers itself there. Until the day it returns to heaven with a new champion, and its mission restored.

Jim in this universe, dies saving people from a fire that had come ablaze in a movie theatre one evening out with Toby. When the fire became apparent, naturally Jim risked his life managing to get everyone out, including Toby … but loosing his own life in the process.

That act of bravery earns him his flaming blue wings, a symbol of his corrage and sacrifice. When Jim reaches heaven he mornes the loss his death must impact on his family, especially his mother. When he promised he would never leave her.

But Emily helps him to get settled and overtime come to peice with his afterlife. Finding a new roll in heavens society helping others. Quietly awaiting the day he can see his family again.

It’s only a few years later that Toby arives to join him, the fire having had lasting consequences. Toby takes on the form of an orange cat due to his playful nature and overall love for the felines. There reunion is so wholesome.

But months later a threat is made on heaven from an unknown force. A force that had crawled its way from earth and attempted diging its roots into other realms.

With the sigils strenth restored, it reveals itself, and an instinct unknown to Jim kicks in, taking down the evil that had wondered passed the pearly gates with a brilliant silver sword.

The Arc angel Merlin only then presents himself amoungst a green flame to his new champion. Proving to the council of angels that doubted him that his weapon still remained true even after all these years.

But the roots were only the start, to truly uproot this threat it must be tracked down to the source. kanjigar failed to find it on earth and so a new champion must depart this realm to search for it in another… hell.

Merlin informs the boy of this duty, but the sacrifice it will cost on his afterlife, and even the life before. For to hold the sigils true potential, one must be reborn.

Jim thinks of his mother and the afterlife he wants to give her. And what this evil would do for Toby, or rather any soul seeking peice, and reluctantly accepts.

You know the rest from there.

Unfortunately Toby is unable to Join Jim in this adventure, but they made a promise to each other this would not be the last time they see one another. Because some friendships find there way to transcend even time and space. They will meet again. Toby was sure of it.

But after his friend was gone, Toby still held a regret, of one thing he never got to tell Jim.

So Toby waits, but not alone, he’s got Nanna, oh and more cats!

Based on two of my favourite future fics. Jim tells the truth after everything gets derailed oh so quickly.

Prompt 5: fear

What if… it wasn’t that simple.

I thought Jim’s death at the end of wizards was resolved over way too fast compared to others so I had this idea.

( Took inspiration with how cursed obsidian, like The Decimaar blade can steel souls. What if as well as corruption this wasn’t so different? and resurrection this time would be a lot more complicated.)

Well I just made ROTT a lot more angsty. Sorry.

Also Claire and Jim deserve everything good in the world these two poor traumatised souls!!

Prompt 4: regret

The highs of the new timeline have to run out at some point.

Jim has to face the consequence of processing everything that had happened in far too short a time.

I wish Jim got a happy ending, but he remains, as always, a tragic hero.

( luckily there’s fan fiction to fix that!)
