Man. It kills me whenever i see people dismiss wardor out of hand as bad lotr fanfiction: the game. Like sure shelob is gamerbait but a giant spider descended from a being on par with a maia being able to shapeshift is NOT that big of a stretch. The timeline scunching on minas morgul is wack but honestly doesn't hamper the story that much. People are missing out on The Sickest Aragorn Foil Ever [Talion] and Actually Probably More Accurate Than Fanon Celebrimbor [<- arrogant manipulative asshole with noble intentions and delusions of grandeur]. Also they wholesale just straight up imported silm fanon's fairform sauron design into the game. Which is really funny.

Talion's weird nihilistic zen approach to his existence post-ring war continually freaks all the humans out, even the people of Mordor who have known him for years if not sometimes decades

The orcs; yeah so we were created outside of Eru's plan and unlike the dwarves, we didn't have a archangel Vala patron-creator, bc we were created by Melkor and Sauron so our spirits don't have anywhere to go after we die, hence why we're so casual abt practicing necromancy, bc anything is better than The Big Empty/the Void.

Talion, a former undead/cursed Ringwraith who refused to die like he was supposed to, having committed countless atrocities; yeah we vibing. I also don't know what happens to my soul after my final death, having been cursed, and a Ringwraith in Sauron's power. Additionally, I think I might also be sent to the void when I die, which is all kinds of horrible considering my only goal has been to be reunited with my family in the afterlife.
