Perfect 10 Liners; Thirteen

Short Summary • Yotha seems determined to keep Gun in his life. This is especially noticeable when Gun pulls away from Yotha after a night at the bar together. Gun not only witnesses Yotha confirming he has no feelings for Wa (via kiss) and Yotha when he's fighting. Both are huge shocks for Gun, and he asks Faifah to help him create distance between himself and Yotha. Yotha, who cannot stand to be apart from Gun, sneaks into Faifah and Gun's room after Gun moves out and tells a sleepy Gun that he's just dreaming. Their distance ends the moment Yotha enlists help from Arm who is glad to help his peer mentee.

Thoughts • How long will Yotha and Gun hold out on telling each other they have feelings? I understand Gun's POV as he sees the person he cares about not care much about himself. As for Yotha, is it because he doesn't deem himself worthy? Or is he scared that Gun will shatter him like Warit did before? Even so, Yotha seems shy whenever his brothers or Gun's friends mention how his relationship with Gun looks like from a third party's perspective. Will Yotha open his heart completely to Gun even with the possibility that Gun could hurt him as Wa did? Yotha seems to want to let Gun in.

Perfect 10 Liners; Eighteen

Short Summary • During a Perfect 10 meet-up, Wine gets very drunk and starts crying over his heartbreak; a common occurrence even with Wine and his friends. When Faifah takes Wine to the bathroom because he feels sick, Wine asks why it is so wrong for him to like guys. He tells Faifah that he sees so many mlm in Perfect 10 Line, so why is it just him that is weird for liking guys. After Faifah calms Wine down, Wine kisses Faifah. It seems after that drunken kiss that Wine feels more at ease around Faifah, and Faifah would like to mend Wine’s broken heart.

Thoughts • It’s sad that there are still people out there that are unwilling to accept someone just because they are different. The fact that same sex couples is not new, just newly stigmatized is kind of infuriating. What is so wrong about Wine liking his ex-girlfriend’s brother aside from the fact that he was actually dating her at the time? It’s one thing if he just has a crush on his ex-girlfriend’s brother, it’s another if he was trying to get into a relationship while still dating her. I guess that’s why I don’t understand.

What happened that Wine basically retreated into himself after their break-up? How badly did his ex-girlfriend or her brother treat Wine that he’s just unwilling to try again? It’s unfortunate that most people are so broken after a relationship that it takes someone else, who has most likely been in that situation before, to come and help their partner work through that. Faifah, in this situation, is just willing to give so much of himself to the people around him. Maybe that is what Wine needs is someone who doesn’t care who he loves, but loves him unconditionally just because Wine is special to him. 🤷‍♀️

Perfect 10 Liners; Twelve

Short Summary • Klao seems to have a beef with Yotha, who doesn't pay Klao any attention. This does nothing to Yotha, whose main focus seems to be on his new roommate, whom he can be himself around. This level of intimacy, unlike with anyone else, has Gun falling for Yotha hook, line, and sinker. The problem, however, is when Fai and Kong find out that Gun has a crush on Yotha, which ends with Yotha knowing that Gun has a crush on him. Will Yotha also take responsibility for Gun's feelings?

Thoughts • I'm honestly not sure if Yotha's closeness with Gun is because he trusts him or if it's because he has an interest in him. I know they made that deal where Yotha will overcome his fear if Gun does the same, but Yotha has been pushing Gun's boundaries for a while. Also, what will change with Yotha finding out that Gun has a crush on him? As far as I can tell, it's basically the same as Yotha is not quite there yet. It's also convenient that they didn't show the results of either test, but you can infer what the results were. Especially because Gun got shy after they saw them.

Also, Gun asking for Yotha's 10 Liner bracelet is interesting. Arm had just explained it was for people who were dating and Gun asked for Yotha's. Is it because he doesn't take the meaning seriously or because he had decided already that he would give it to Gun?

Perfect 10 Liners; Fourteen

Short Summary • After a long talk, Yotha and Gun have made up. That doesn't mean that Beagle will be returning home. Gun chooses to stay sharing a room with Faifah as Yotha is still unsure if his feelings towards Gun are love. Yotha also pulls away from Gun due to Newton's advice on protecting Gun's feelings; not just his own. It gets to a point where Gun even locks Yotha out of his shared room with Faifah. When Gun gets sick, Yotha is very quick to be with Gun and take care of him. Instead of asking if Gun wants to be hugged by Yotha, Yotha changes it to Can he hug Gun and also takes back allowing Gun to leave him if he finds someone that can make Gun love them more than Yotha.

Thoughts • It's unsure if Yotha is really thinking about how he feels towards Gun. There haven't really been any major soul-searching scenes. The most we've seen is Yotha confirming that he no longer has feelings for Warit. The same cannot be said about Gun. Closing himself off from Gun isn't going to make either Yotha or Gun happy, so I'm unsure why that was his way of protecting Gun. It could just be that Yotha has no idea what he should do. Newton tells Yotha that he can see how their parents' divorce hurt all of them and that he can see how much Yotha likes Gun. It should have helped ease his mind. Instead, Yotha focused on the fact that he was potentially harming Gun. Hopefully, he can learn his heart before he hurts himself or Gun more.
