I have this weird au for Jaybae and basically:

He joins tigerstar and hawkfrost in the dark forest, his want to be a warrior far outweighed his worries, so he refused Spottedleaf.

Tigerstar brings Jaypaw under his wing, and teaches him how to fight and hunt, giving amazing criticism, albeit harsh. Jaypaw practices the moves with his eyes closed so that he can still use them outside the dream world.

There are a few major changes. One: There is 5 gifted cats, and not all of them are in thunderclan.

Hollypaw(leaf) has the ability to sense if people are lying, and can make people tell the truth. (The ladder is very tiring to her)

Lionpaw(blaze) is still unable to be harmed, but only when his ability is active, it activates on its own and tires him out a lot.

Flamepaw(tail) can understand other animals, which is why he becomes a medicine cat.

I’m honestly a little lost on who to do with windclan and riverclan, but maybe Breezepaw(pelt) and Willowshine?

Yeah, probs willowshine, just cause I can yeet some Hollywillow/Willowholly in there.

I don’t really know how Jaypaw(feather) got his powers to read emotions, but maybe I’ll chalk it up to a Dark forest cat sacrificing their soul or somethin’?

Another major change, the darkforest is home to a lot of cats that don’t really deserve to be there, and normally aren’t there in the original PO3. Such as, Bluestar, Tallstar, Jake (he wanted to be with his boyfriend), etc. this might sound really farfetched, but starclan is totally a b*tch when it comes to rules, and a lot of cats have neglected the warrior code, and bluestar straight up declared war on them.

So anyway, Jaypaw is still brightheart’s apprentice (she deserves one) and they get along pretty well, she teaches him a lot of things and they seem to warm up to each other, albeit sassing eachother constantly.

Jaypaw realizes that his siblings go missing each night (meeting up with the other gifted’s) and tries ask them about it, but it becomes a heated argument, which ends up forcing jaypaw away from his siblings, both of them are stubborn and have somewhat of an ego problem due to being chosen (not like extreme assholes, but still stupid) and don’t ever say sorry. So jaypaw just kinda sets all concentration on training. He makes a lot of progress, and brightheart expresses her worries about him overworking himself, and Jaypaw assumes her feelings are pity. Due to brightheart being a victim of constant pity she quickly clears up the misinterpretation. The two have a heartfelt talk and kinda get a mother/son bond going.

That’s all I’ve got planned out, I’ll probably write more about it, but it’s gonna be in a private document. Anyway, Peace.

Edit: Jaypaw gets introduced to the other dark forest cats and is like instantly adopted by Bluestar. Jake is fawning over his cute great-great grandson. Y’allstar (autocorrect tallstar) is supporting his bf. Stonefur is there too, and a few others who starclan decided to be a bitch about.

Edit 2: Jaypaw goes to the medicine cat den a lot, due to tigerstar and warrior training, He doesn’t really like leafpool, because she treats him like a kit, and eventually he voices his annoyance, and Leafpool starts treating him “normally” she does often dote on him, and talk to him a lot. They also form a Mother/Son granted not as strong as Brightheart’s, but still.
