Valentine Functional Washstand
The "Functional Victorian Washstand" has been very popular, and I am constantly looking to find nice things to make functional.
Another thing I'm constantly doing is looking at 3D models on Sketchfab - both for inspiration, and also to see if I can use anything for The Sims.
I found a low poly washstand by Valentine van Steenbergen on Sketchfab, which I really liked, and am allowed to use with attribution. being quite low poly, I did add more vertices etc. in order for bits to look more rounded - but I also added some other features: a candle holder, a towel, a little soap shelf, a slottable mirror, and of course - water and tuning to make the basin functional (with the help of Serinion's "Ablution Chamber Basin").
This basin functions as a sink - you can brush your teeth, wash your hands, shave your face; as well as take a "sponge bath" OFF THE GRID.
I have added the "Sponge Bath" interaction by connecting the basin with Cepzid's "Sponge Bath at Sink" Mod - so it is required in order for this to work.
There are 22 swatches - 11 wood colours, each of these having silver or gold hardware.
Just like the "Functional Victorian Washstand", there is a separate mirror which you can slot into place, and for convenience I have placed these in the same category as -and right next to- the washstand itself:
