You may not visit every part of your home daily but you are going to spend considerable time in the washroom, everyday. We may have taken the Christmas week off, but that does not mean that work stops. We are building quotes and proposal for the next batch of work in 2018. This morning I finally threw in the base of our shower. The sub floor is off 3/4 of an inch, so doing it the drypack way really helps. Besides, I'm not a huge fan of the #schlueter bases anyways. Custom Floating Vanity in the Master Washroom. Were now ready for measurements for the quartz countertop with Kohler undermount sink. The current configuration has a dedicated makeup station with space for seating to the right and the sink to the left. This will be topped by a large custom built mirror wrapped in Walnut with integrated lighting. At #projectrainpark we had new windows installed. The older units were 18 years old and had lost their insulating properties. We opted for one picture window and one casement windows minus the distracting mullions and muntins. Two showers. One curbed and one curbless. Both with large format tiles profiled to the slope of the floor. Both grouted yesterday and now waiting on a few critical components to complete the washrooms. A custom vanity with a dedicated makeup station is being built for this space. Shower were measured yesterday and new single panel shaker doors were ordered.
