Since the current arc is (seemingly) about rogue planets, I figured PSO would fit in that department. But if the Planet Revolution also recruited planets who are mistreated by their stars, the other 3 in this drawing would definitely fit that area.
Exoplanet WASP-12b does not seem like a good place to go for a visit. New research has found that most of the light that goes towards it doesn't come out again, making the gas giant pitch black.
The planet, discovered in 2008, is just 1400 light-years from Earth. It's become one of the most studied outside our solar system, and we know a fair bit about it.
We know that it's what is known as a "hot Jupiter", a gigantic gaseous planet 40 times more massive than Jupiter that orbits extremely close to its host star. In fact, it's so close that it completes an orbit (one WASP-12b year) in just under one Earth day, and has been pulled by gravity into an egg shape.
"Bizarre, scorching-hot planet is darker than asphalt" has been added to my site. Please visit for details. http://www.stocknewspaper.com/bizarre-scorching-hot-planet-is-darker-than-asphalt/
This is not the set of Solarcards that I'd hoped would be the last ones I make, plus two of the planets from this set will be added to the last set I post, so it technically can still be the last set I make after these ones. Plus I finally got to make a star Solarcard and use the Rogue Planet card template I made. (my ask for no requests or suggestions still remains).
Shoutout to NeptuneSSC on Discord for helping me with the temperatures of Kelt-9b and Kepler-70b since the internet gave me conflicting results when I looked them up.
(Also, poor Kelt-9b is permanently blind due to the brightness and heat from his star and being tidally locked :(, which is why his eyes are like that)
