i headcanon that even after the finale of the game many people (now even more since the z-team got popular) still don't take waterboy seriously no matter how hard he works. so i needed robert to comfort hermy because rob himself didn't have much support when he took his father's role as mecha man. idk i love the idea of them bonding bc they both had issues in the beginning of their superhero careers

I really appreciate that Dispatch from Waterboy’s POV is essentially a Wattpad story. You’re a clumsy protagonist with luck so bad you’re literally hit by a car on your way to a job interview (tragic backstory.) Once there, you meet the ML, a hero of yours who insists on tying your tie and climbs into your lap in an unnecessarily charged manner. This same hero corners you in a closet for a pep talk and half-naked in the shower, and it all culminates in you joining a team of heroes that saves the day. Truly YN’s greatest dream.
