this is my first arcane fanart ever, so i'm a bit nervous ;--; I tried hard to reference Viktor's features while staying in this style but not sure if it worked. But i'm still proud of it!! This is Viktor around 17. in the fic, he was adopted by Vander and Silco. No guesses who dressed him here :3 heuehue.

After the doctor hurts Rio, a freshly-orphaned Viktor is taken in at The Last Drop. Years later, there’s a riot on the bridge. When Silco doesn’t return, Viktor sets out to find him — only to witness one father trying to drown the other.

In which child-Viktor refuses to abandon Silco; an act of devotion that changes the trajectory of Zaun’s uprising. While Vander makes deals with the Enforcers, Silco builds an empire in the dark. Someone has to fund his son’s endless charity work. And send the kids to school. And cure Grey Lung in ten years. Being a single-parent of revolution is hard.

There’s siblings-of-divorce, waverider eggs, volatile crystals…and a Piltie wandering around the Lanes looking for blue gems. Viktor was impressed it took this long for the man to get mugged. Luckily for Jayce, Viktor’s very good with knives.

Honestly that's a mood. Napoleon x Iskander makes some hot bara but tbh I don't really see much chemistry in it. Especially when compared to Iskander x Waver. Nothing wrong with shipping what you want. But its a bit crazy to see this amount of support for a ship over one My Room line. Especially when Iskander shows similar idolization towards Achilles as a historical figure and there wasn't anything like this when that happened.

It really is. Napoleon x Iskander just feels like muscled bara dude on bara dude. Kinda like a Sean C*dy video. Just white muscled dudes fucking with zero chemistry.

Like when I first stumbled to it, I thought there was a legit history between them so I searched them up only to find out there is only one interaction as you mentioned and it is actually one-sided. And recently, I just found out there was one fanart made by the artist. But I don’t see how a possibly platonic drinking session could lead to NapoIska being one of the biggest ships in the bara community and for it to warrant so many fanart that it floods my TL sometimes even when I dont actively follow NapoIska accounts or I have them muted. And like you said, Iskander admires Achilles but like it’s obvious that is platonic admiration.

And it leaves a bitter taste on my mouth too because WaverRider have a ton of interactions, and it’s not subtext that they love each other. But this ship does not get the same reception in the Bara community unlike NapoIska and it’s probably because Waver does not look like the conventionally bara af character.

Again, I am not saying that you’re a bad gay or you only like white gays if you ship NapoIska. But I also feel that this ship is really just big because they both resemble what is the considered the most attractive in the gay community. Bara is already niche and it originates in Japan so to have one of the popular bara ships be of two white men who look like they could be brothers and who have zero canon mutual interactions just does not sit well with me.
