Another bonus illustration for Chased Through Dreams issue #1, tried to make them dress like Victorians.
I'm being so strong and disciplined by working on my comic when what my autism wants to do is churn out Shade fanart.
Left one was perfectly cropped so I freestyled him during the inking (discovered him between the sketch and inks), second one already had a top hat in the sketch, twas fate. These are in a background where Echo is dreaming they are in a comic shop
Last bonus illustration for Chased Through Dreams #1. Put them in Victorian fashion because I love dapper outfits (and the Shade). Shadebringer's pose demanded he hold something, but I don't think he really thinks about being queer (ambiguously aroace in that everyone chalks it down to being stoic and dedicated to justice), so I ended up giving him a cool scythe.
Spent last week working on a zine to show off my comic WIP world, here's the best little doodles I drew in it. My favourite ones are definitely Shadebringer and aro pride Shadow Society Artist, I forgot to give Shadebringer a shirt but it ended up really cool.
Due to the way comic printing works, I can add 8 pages to issue 1 without increasing the cost much, so I'm making some illustrations (stock ordering is expensive, so I'm upping the intended sell price but want to make it worth it for the reader)
