arc 2 in my wc rewrite
BloodClan headcanons
- Scourge would organize raids into Kittypet homes, and steal their food, and feed a majority of the clan. Dry or wet food was fair game, and sometimes even pet birds or fish if available. Bags of kibble would be sliced, and wet food would be popped open by their reinforced claws.
- IDGAF about canon. All BloodClan cats were cared for by Scourge, while being feared he also held respect and was a good leader to his cats. Punishment would be brutal, yes, but I like to believe he was a caring leader to his cats. Feeding those less fortunate and caring for kits. Especially regarding his trauma, kits would not be harmed under his leadership.
- Now if a BloodClan were to help out a non-BloodClan cat, it would be seen as traitorous and punishment worthy. The community is built with trust and caring about each-other. Once you break that trust either by lending mercy to non-BloodClan cats, or leaving the Clan, you would be shunned and treated as an outsider. However, the “helping non-BloodClan cats” rule does not apply to kits. If a kit is in danger, it will always be saved and cared for, usually being adopted into BloodClan.
- Their reinforced claws would regularly be sharpened against the concrete, which is why they are able to slice and tear, instead of being blunt.
- The more teeth on your collar meant the higher your rank was. So Scourge would naturally have the most. Cats also decorate their collars with tags of other cats they’ve killed or beaten in battle. Some cats even steal others collars. So if you had a naked, lonely collar, you were considered on a lower rank. However, BloodClan cats were still BloodClan cats.
- BloodClan utilized the storm drains and sewer system, a popular form of punishment in BloodClan would be to waterboard or almost drown cats in the water.
- BloodClan would reach out all over the city into different factions, lead by different cats. However on full moons, all the factions would meet up like a gathering. These gatherings would be used to pass information along, and make bonds within different factions stronger. BloodClan is all still BloodClan, at the end of the day.
These are all my current BloodClan headcanons, however it might be added on to! All of these are canon in my wc rewrite

Warrior Cat rewrite posting
Here's my Firestar Rustfire★ design! He's a black cat technically, but experienced Rusting due to spending so much time in the sun 💞 He kept his bell collar to prove a point, he's still capable of sneaking around with it on. It's creepy.
The golden star pupils are a Prophecy cat indicator, the golden color coming from those cover arts where his eyes are yellow for some reason. He has freckles because he's a ginger lmao. He's got the curled tail so it can be passed down to Squirrelflight.
This is a younger design, around Deputy to early Leader era. Bonus fun fact; in my AU, all Prophecy cats get a power of some kind. Rusty's is that he's fireproof.

Clan cats, after so many generations of isolation, have developed distinct biological advantages from most domestic cats.
Their coats change distinctively with the seasons. Lighter and denser in the warm seasons, thick and long in the cold seasons. All Clans possess a thick, water-resistant undercoat. Most cats have webbing between their toes. Their claws are thicker and longer, with bigger paws.
They are more muscular, taller, and heavier than the average moggy. They have better endurance, with a bigger lung capacity to tolerate the muggy cold weather of their forest.
They have exceptional night vision, even compared to most cats. The genetics behind their eye colors is more complicated than most cats, and they have a wider range. Dominant blue eyes have developed without the drawbacks other felines experience from them, likely improving their night vision. Warriors also have a greater range of vision compared to domestic cats, but they still struggle with red/green, and they are more nearsighted than a human.
Clan cats also have broader food tolerances. They are still naturally neophobic, but Clan cats will eat insects, and their digestive systems tolerate plants and fruits well when they are the only option or for the sake of taking herbs. This natural neophobia can make it tedious to treat cats with herbs they hadn’t needed to try as a kit or apprentice, and makes it an important duty for queens to give their kits novel prey throughout their childhood.
Clan cats sleep far less than domestic cats, to the point it is jarring to kittypets and loners. This “far less” is only about 12 hours. Apprentices in most Clans are guaranteed more sleep to help them grow better, especially as they eat less than other cats, getting around 15 hours.
Clan cats seem to have an innate ability to find their way home. Most cats cite this for the draw that led their ancestors to the territories, and claim only warriors have it.
Clan cats are much more vocal and talkative than loners or rogues, surprising outsiders. WindClan is generally considered the quietest Clan, but that may just be from how far sound travels on the moor.
Why do you bother to stay?
