Chapter 6 of Bear the Torch is out now!

Damian grabbed her arm. "Evelyn! Evelyn look!" He pointed to a small triangular lake off to the side. "On the side! It's a Pokemon!"

Evelyn looked where he was pointing. Sitting on the side of the lake, staring directly at them, was a pink Pokemon with a white underbelly that featured tiny nubs. The head of the Pokemon was round with a big puff on the top, and it had a yellow mouth and black eyes. "What is it?" She asked.

Damian already had his Pokedex out. "It's... a Shellos! Here, look at this!" He held the Pokedex up so Evelyn could read it. "It's a Pokemon that has two forms! It's a water type, and evolves into a Pokemon called Gastrodon!"

The Shellos slowly wandered over to them. "Look, it's coming over!" Damian exclaimed. "Evelyn, you should try and catch it!"

That was a new term, "Catch it?"

Damian nodded, "Yeah! OK, here, let me just..." He reached inside his backpack, rustling around inside until he pulled out an empty Pokeball. "Hold this!"
