Urg. Today’s run was just…whatever could go wrong DID go wrong. Dogs over amped and distracted? Yup. Leaving for the trail later than I wanted? Yup. Trail full of branches and splinters from the storm last night? Yup. Me catching my front wheel in a sinkhole and then tripping over the gangline and bashing my knee on the frozen gravel path? Yup. Mr. D’s bike breaking on mile 3? You gotcha! An off leash dog? Yup! Slash screaming non stop for no reason and worrying the heck out of us? Yup.
