ok this genuinely funny to me: i started writing a destiel fic back in september, and it's not finished yet cuz im dumb, but when 15x18 aired i couldnt watch it (i dont live in america) and only found out what happened cuz of tumblr. i literally went BATSHIT. but now all i can think is "is there any point in finishing my fic???" cuz it feels like the writers handed us a freshly baked canon fanfiction and im cackling through my tears. who cares about teenage destiel in an 80s AU anymore lmAO

JHKHKFKF OKAY so I totally feel you. It’s like, what now. WHAT NOW. I’m simultaneously numb from emotional burnout but also still screaming with no self control.

That being said I will never tire of reading other fan fics, and I think when you’re up to it (after this emotional fucking hurricane stops slamming us into destiel heaven hell whatever the heck this is rn) you should go back to it because we all need content to consume. If anything, I think destiel going explicitly canon is going to make us ravenous for even more. Now all the fanfics aren’t what we wish would happen, it’s legit what COULD happen or have happened in any of Chucks AU.
