call to all writers who are writing young children as someone who has worked at a day care MOST 3 YEAR OLDS CAN FORM SENTENCES AND LIKE, SAY MORE THAN JUST REPEATING WHAT GROWNUPS AROUND THEM SAY. Please, I am BEGGING.

in my experience working with three year olds, they can be shy sometimes, yes, but every 3 year old I have worked with was incredibly smart, learned so fast, knew what they wanted, had very active imaginations that they will tell you about if they like you, they make friends and have conversations and yeah, they aren't writing dissertations but Jesus Christ People, stop writing your 3/4/5 year old characters like they just said their first words, im gonna have to spin in circles of frustration if we don't pull it together

Ok so this hasn't happened this week but like. Semi regularly I'll get replies or asks or something that's like "ok but Dazai's a shitty person he wouldn't do xzy" which. No? Like he's not a good person but that doesn't default set him to shitty. Also we've seen he cares about people so it's reasonable to assume that he'd do things to show that care as unconventional as it might be.

also i dont like yall shitting on dazai, or any character while im just trying to talk about them. just stop that.
