Here is the practical application of my black salt - an "anti-stress" charm for my return to work. And as a manager in a British craft beer pub... trust me, now that lockdown has lifted a little, I need all the help I can get!
Thanks to a brief obsession with UV resin a couple of years ago, I had all the bits 'n' bobs needed to make this charm. As well as my mental health protection black salt, this charm includes:
- Calendula - protection against evil & negativity, promotes harmony
- Chilli Pepper Flakes - wards off unwanted energies
- Lavender - peace & healing
With the shape of this charm, I also saw an opportunity to create a wearable protective "circle". I took some liberties with the element/cardinal direction correspondences, using colour association rather than necessarily the element each ingredient is said to be governed by:
- Black Salt - earth - north
- Lavender - water - west
I like how it turned out, and it feels right. I just added the crescent moon because it's cute :3 I charged this with music, and I'll be wearing this at work at all times!
