King Shark Relationship headcanons (Harley Quinn Version)
The fact that this guy barely has any fanfic about him is just making me want to cry.
Confession:
He was starting to have feelings for you and you treated him as an individual. If he had a problem he felt like he could go to you and ask for your help.
He started to act a little shy around you, and would sometimes stutter.
You found it very adorable.
He wasn't sure how to confess his feelings for you, but you were waiting as you felt the same way about him.
He was calm, polite, and was the most reasonable one out of the team.
He was like your best friend, and you wanted to be more than friends.
You were completely fine with being with a man-shark. You cared about him, and most of the guys in Gotham were not to your liking.
He finally had the will to tell you his feelings. He knew he couldn't keep this up for long as you might have found out eventually.
Half of the team had figured out King had a crush on you. Obviously, they only told King about it and not you as they didn't want to ruin the potential relationship.
King asked if you could both go out of a walk. He said he needed to ask you something important.
You said yes of course. He was your crush after all!
You stood on the shore of the beach. It was evening and the scenery looked absolutely stunning with the bright orange sun setting off in the distance.
He itched the back of his neck shyly, "Y/N, I brought you out here because I have something important to tell you. It's very important to me."
This peaked your curiosity, "What is it Nanaue?"
He grabbed both of your hands and held yours in his.
"Y/N, we've known each other for a year and I felt like we've really connected well. I've been starting to have these feelings stir up inside me. You're just so beautiful, and gorgeous."
King sighed as he continued, "Y/N, I'm in love with you. I know that I'm a shark, and I am technically a prince of a shark kingdom. I just don't want you to regret being in a relationship with me. If only you want to of course."
This was it! Nanaue finally said he had feelings for you!
You smiled as you tightened your grip on his hands. "Nanaue, of course I want to be in a relationship with you! I've been waiting for some time for you to tell me. I'm fine with you being a shark, that's who you are Nanaue. I'll accept everything about you, even the fact that your royal."
King Shark hugged you gently, "Y/N, thank you. Thank you so much. I love you, Y/N. I'll take care of you, and I'll do all that I can to be there for you."
Your foreheads touched lovingly as you looked at him in the eyes. "Nanaue...I love you so much. I'll be there for you too. I promise."
Relationship:
This man is pretty loyal. He will be pretty communicative, and will try to update you on things when he can.
He's told you about his arrangement with Tabitha. He says that he's not in love with her at all and she is more of just a friend.
He can be a little worried at times, but King Shark is committed to your relationship.
He is a big sofite. He loves cuddles, and loves giving you nose kisses.
He can be protective at times, he knows that you can hold your own, but he always worries for your safety. You are the love of his life after all.
You are both there for each other when you both are feeling down. His brothers deaths haunt him and he's worried that he will hurt you too if he goes berserk.
You just calm him and reassure that you know he wouldn't hurt you.
And your right in his berserk personality he doesn't hurt you and is instead VERY protective of you. He will consume anyone who tries to hurt you or goes near you.
You told Nanaue about it and he just blushes with a lot of red appearing on his face.
He is a gamer! You don't mind playing with him, and he always enjoys it when you join the game that he is playing.
You like going swimming together and it's a lot of fun! He will even tease you sometimes.
Shark attack!!! Just kidding he would never hurt you.
He can be such a dork sometimes and it’s super adorable!
Such a wholesome boyfriend King Shark is!
He treasures your relationship and is happy he finally has found a soulmate!
